Happy new year! It's now the 4698th year of the lunar calendar. So there aren't any Y2K problems here!
As you may have noticed, I've still been playing around with that search engine, skipping out on skating in the process. Man, I should stop doing that. Anyway, it's not complete, I just put it here so I could test it. You can play around with it if you want, but I take to responsibility if your browser crashes, your computer crashes, or any other crashes (natural or otherwise) that you may experience while using the script.
Aren't disclaimers great?
The results still look yucky, and doesn't show the part of the entry that has the word or phrase in it (as the major search engines do) but it's a start, and this thing is getting more complex than I bargained for! I might just ditch it in the end.. we'll see.

Well well, it seems as if weirDo has put in a new update onto Area 51B (which is news since his last update was on November 15th. Laz has something new up as does Tiffi (who lost her original entry.. poor girl, we can sympathize).
Seems like I'm back from my broomball games. I went home for dinner (and a bit of tube enjoyment - old timers hockey game!) and made it a little late to our competitive broomball game. It was against one of the higher ranking teams, and we were missing a couple of our key defenders, but we felt quite confident. While I was putting my equipment on, the game started, and as I was putting on my knee pads, they scored a goal. Just like that, tic-tac-toe. It was a nice play, and it shook us up. (Well, I was off the ice at that time so I wasn't so worried =) We went down two goals before getting one back, but I bungled at the end of the half and they got another goal.
So there it stood. We were down by two goals and didn't know what to do. A little better defence and just to play better was the suggestion. After we started the second half, we got two goals fifteen seconds apart. Really nice goals, but that's how the score stood by the end of the game. Oh well, it was a good game. Too bad there aren't more teams like that in the league. I wonder how we'll do against them when we have all our main players out..
We went to Front Row for drinks and a bit of food after that since we had a two hour layover before our next (co-rec) game. Nothing too intersting to report. I think they got better looking waitresses there recently though, but maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me..
So we had a co-rec game tonight. weirDo appeared, but Dusty didn't show up. I'm wondering if they're alter-egos or something since they keep alternating. The two girls showed up and brought along a couple of friends too! So we actually did have enough people playing (after stealing a couple of Riston's players). It was a good game, and a refreshing change from the fast paced tie we had earlier. Next time hopefully more people will show up so I won't have to keep stealing players..

Whoa, seems like KGL's got something new up, and this time it's not a four line update! (It's a five line update.) It also seems as if AgentP has added a couple of links onto his page, but lost his Victoria journal. Hrumph.
On the anime front, HaremPresident sent us a link about a couple of new movies coming out soon. From FlyingS comes Scott Pakin's automatic complaint-letter generator which actually has nothing to do with anime, but you can see what this thing can do!
Oh crap. I have to do some marking for Monday which I completely forgot about. I'll have to see if I can remember to do it tomorrow..
It's getting late, I think it's time for me to go home and crash. I'm gonna be pretty sore tomorrow..

Hey, I just tried out your search engine.. very nice! But I'm confused as to the order in which it returned the results? Also, how did you avoid searching http tags? Tell me, TELL ME NOW... er, tell us now. I have one idea of how to do it.. but I'm hoping you have something much more elegant.
