- Ars Technica
- This is clearly a computer news site. After \., I think Ars is one of the biggest computer specific news portals. Although it isn't updated as often as the Shack, the articles written here are well researched, and very informative.
- Some of the better articles I've started listing here:
- Shacknews (used to be the Shugashack)
- This is a great gaming news site that I frequent every day. Although the primary focus of this site is on games, and game related stories, the Shack tends to throw up links to some other interesting links.
- Slashdot
- Probably one of the biggest news sites that cater to geeks.
- ZDNet
- More of a standard news portal, ZDNet generally looks more at the computer industry aspect of current events. If something's happened in the computer sector, ZDNet will probably have an article up about it very quickly.
- ZDNet also owns PC Magazine Online
