[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

There were a couple of things that I forgot to mention last night. First of all, AgentP was telling me about his experience with one of the final missions in Homeworld. He told me that in his mission, he had to go up against a (very large > 40) fleet of ion cannon frigates. I remember when I played that mission. I was up against a fleet of destroyers! Gah, more evidence that the computer compensates for the size of the player's fleet (I had quite a sizable force at that time). (Ooh, seems like Laz is also up against ion cannon frigates - lucky guy!)

Another thing. FlyingS asked me if I could use one of the pictures from my trip on the CTRL-A homepage. HaremPresident had this idea to have people visiting different parts of the world to pose in front of various places with their CTRL-A T-shirts. He called it something like "CTRL-A around the world". Anyway, FlyingS wanted to use the picture from the Big Nickel since I was wearing my Izumi shirt and it looks more or less like the CTRL-A Emiko shirt. What do you think guys? I told him he could also use the Drumheller picture since I actually was wearing my CTRL-A T-shirt that day.

My fingers have been feeling a little sore, probably because of Thursday night's volleyball stint. Hopefully this won't affect my broomball games tonight.

The door to my office confuses me. The climate in our office hasn't changed that much in the past week, but this week, for few days, the door has gotten caught on the floor when it's halfway open. Quite annoying when you're not expecting it. Now it's completely free. I don't get it.

Made some changes with the new journal entry calendar script (To make up for a deficiency with navigation). I find it a little large now (and pretty slow to boot), but I don't have time to dwell, I gotta go.

[4:00 PM EST - This is good..]

Well, I'm back. Played three broomball games tonight: One competitive and two co-rec. We did fairly well in the competitive game, winning by a score of 4-0 (I came up empty) but the other team was pretty rough. Eh, I doubt we'll see them in the playoffs though, they have a 0-3 record now.

The two co-rec games were pretty good, although we severely outclassed our opponents. In the first game, we had all of our competitive team stick around, and since our extra subs were no pushovers, I felt really bad scoring on them. The next game was with my team, and despite the fact only three of us (Riston, SDS and I) played in the game (Jim played out of the net!) we still killed them. Mind you, their team was a bunch of neophytes, so I hope this didn't discourage them that much.

Oh well, weirDo got himself a couple of goals, and Jim got himself one too! Next time, we'll try to get the girls to score..

Oh yeah, I finally got to see KGL. Man, I do sorta recognize her now, but there would've been no way that I would've been able to pick her out of a lineup. It's all good now, since I should remember what she looks like (and her roommate too).

We went out to McGinnis for drinks and food after. It was nice to see most of the team come out (weirDo left, despite the fact that he was the one who suggested it yesterday). Ah well, maybe next time.

Seems like MJO has an update at the Ramparts.

Well, it's time for me to go, need sleep..
