It snowed last night. Woke up to a nice blanket of white that I broke into on my way to work. Didn't see any other footprints in the snow so I figured that I was the fist to leave the house (around ten-thirty). It's a first!
Got around to signing up for figure skating. The class wasn't full, although I doubted that it would be.
So MS is going to be sliced and diced? I dunno, we'll see if it'll happen. But until then, it seems as Bill Gates will be stepping down as CEO! Whoa..
Well, I was working with the rubidium dimer wondering why my fits are diverging, when I started listening to the news. I got a little distracted, until the end, when the announcer said:
"News next at three-thirty."
Three-thirty? Didn't I have a lab to..
*blink*
Ahh!! I quickly rushed out of the office, and ran to the computer lab, I realized halfway there that I was going to the wrong computer lab and backtracked. I got to the lab a little late. Dang, I was hoping to make a better impression than that..
And to think that I was reminding myself of the lab this morning. Man, I hate it when that happens.
Things went fairly well throughout the lab, with nothing too big to note, except that most of the people in the lab didn't seem to have much spreadsheet knowhow (which is completely opposite of last summer).
I went out for a drink at the water fountain, and I got accosted by one of my former CHEM 129 students, CJF! I hadn't seen that kid for quite a while now, and got onto catching up. Just after CJF asked me if I wanted to go swing dancing (is it the IN thing now?), a bunch of people (from her year) came up to us, two who I recognized (one was a frosh leader last year) and they started talking and everyone started yapping, and making fun of me in general. (Is it always general principle to make fun of me? *think* Don't answer that.)
Anyway, it was nice seeing those kids again, but I really did have to go back to my lab and TA those neophytes, so CJF gave me a flyer for the first swing dance club meeting. Oh boy, now it's two girls who want me to go swing dancing, and the only thing about me is the way I walk.. oops, sorry, just about to break into song there.
I might go, but this meeting conflicts with the other captain's meeting that I have to go to (the first swing dancing thing with Jax conflicted with the broomball captains meeting). How inconvienient. I just found that one hell of a coincidence, however I think Jax might be wrong with the date she quoted.. ah well, I'll find out next week (or at the show if she shows up).

Oops, just got mail from Jax confirming the Tuesday date. I guess it'll be Tuesday then huh? I guess I'll only be missing out on one captain's meeting. I wonder who I can send to fill in for me..
Well, it's time for me to go, it'll take some time for me to cook those sausages, so before my stomach goes on a rampage, I'm going home to tame the beast.
