We went to the Chinatown downtown for lunch. Again, nothing too exciting. I did notice how one of the waitresses looked like VanPi. Then I saw her walking down the street after lunch. How odd.
We wandered into the.. uh.. Dragon Court I think it's called. Again, nothing too interesting, except for a shop called Dragon Video: Balloons and Party Supplies. Well, Dragon Video would suggest movie rentals and such, while the party supplies lead to an obvious conclusion. Well, looking inside, the walls were lined with magazines. All smut. Half of it was viewable from outside! There were also posters of some models plastered on the outside. I gotta admit though, a couple of those girls looked awfully nice. (Yes, they had their clothes on.)
I was hoping to call up some people to see what was going on. I made eight calls to eight different people. Nobody was in. Madelaine had already gone back (which sucked since I did want to talk to her), QoS wasn't in.. which was.. five times now? I gave up on her. The only person I got word from was SLWD, who called me back telling me that he was leaving town in an hour and a half. Gah.
Ended up going out to one of my sister's friend's place. It wasn't that bad, but still..
Oh well, that's about it for New Year's Day.
