[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

It seems as if God's page is down for good, so I took it off the list.

Well, Jax has been a bit more busy with that webpage than I had been led to believe. You may want to check it out since some of the things written in there have been updated a bit..

I finished Homeworld last night. It's a very good game, and although it was a little short (since the two races you choose have exactly the same storyline), the game and plot was worth the money spent. I wonder if Relic is going to release an add-on package, but I doubt it. I'm looking around for the songs they used in the game, especially the one which used choir voices.. very somber.

While I was listening to my MP3s last night, I came across a song called "Owner of a Lonely Heart". I remember listening to that when I was a kid.. *recalls childhood*

Anyway, I noticed that the group name was "Yes". Hmm.. that sounded familiar.. I grabbed the Homeworld box out and lo and behold, there was a sticker on the front stating that the game featured the original song "Homeworld" by Yes. I found that amusing, since.. well, those guys must be ancient by now. I actually liked the song.. will have to find a copy somewhere.

After my conquest of Homeworld, I threw on Dungeon Keeper 2 to keep me occupied. Ahh, I remember playing the original and the feel is exactly the same. The graphics have improved a bit, although I'll have to get used to the controls again after the virtual freedom of Homeworld.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we picked up a new printer yesterday. Some of the powers that be got fed up with the constant paper jams we were getting from our old HP and wanted to get something a bit more modern, and could print duplex! We're still in the middle of getting it completely installed, but it seems like a good machine, so I've got no complaints!

The Theochem upgrade on the other hand, is still in the works. We're still at the level we were at before the new year, although we've finally got a new web server up. No cgiwrap though, so no cgi scripts yet. Still keeping my fingers crossed..

Well, time for me to go. I'm going to be TAing tomorrow and I have to register for skating tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll be able to get up in the morning, although I did go in the right direction today.. Ah well, that's life.
