[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Well, here I am back in sunny Toronto. Don't let the sun fool you though. The termperature is very, very low.

On the trip back, my TP told me an interesting trivia thing. The first full moon in January is usually called an "old moon", and since a lunar eclipse makes the moon turn a really dull red, it's called a "blood red moon". This would mean that the full moon we had on Thursday was a "bloody old moon".

Too bad the lunar eclipse didn't happen last year, or we could've had a "bloody old blue moon".

Never ever tempt fate. During our exodus from Waterloo, I noticed how empty the highway was, I commented:

"Wow, why is it so empty?"

and immediately after those words left my mouth we found ourselves in the middle of a traffic jam. Curses! *shakes fist at heavens*

When I got back, I was informed that the time for my dental appointment on Saturday (today) was changed to an earlier time. I took a look at the calendar and noted the new time: half past ten. I guess I had to wake up earlier than anticipated. No prob.

Unfgortunately, I have a tendency of arriving late to any event, and dental appointments are no exception. I made it to the office a few minutes after the designated time and talked to the receptionist. While I was waiting there, the two receptionists started talking about how I had missed my 10:15 appointment. Wait. Ten what? Wasn't it..

I decided not to say anything because I have a tendency of misremembering information, namely meeting times. The receptionist told me that they might have to rescedule my appointment for next month. Next month?!? *groan*

There was an unlikely chance that I would be able to get squeezed into a spot that was for this woman who hadn't confirmed her appointment yet. I just had to wait around for a few minutes. Well, I had nothing better to do so I grabbed a magazine and waited.

A number of people did arrive at the office, but they were all male. Which was fortunate for me since I was called up not long after. Whew.

Nothing to report on the dental front. I'm apparently healthy. I did go back to the calendar to double check on the appointment time and there it was in ink: 10:30. Despite my cranial triumph, I was doomed to fail. *shakes fist at heavens again*

At least I didn't have to reschedule the appointment. Had I been bumped to next month, I wouldn't have had a reason to go back home, and I wouldn't have needed to miss out on the broomball game tonight. I guess I should be glad things still came out the same..

I passed by a bank to pay off my Visa bill, so after playing around with the ABM I started heading towards the car. Along the way, I saw this guy walking down the parking lot towards me and as he passed by, he let a really long one rip. Either that or he had a damned elephant hidden down his pants. How can a human being produce so much noise from that part of the body? I'm just glad I'm wasn't downwind of that one. *plugs nose*

Went with Laz to the Toys `R' Us and watched as he picked up a Dreamcast. Oh yeah! I foresee many sleepless nights ahead. For him at least.

Oh yeah, MJO has a new homepage update, so you may want to see what he said.

I'm gonna cut this one short. Blat.
