[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Here we are in a new month, and here I am with two months left for my thesis. Oh hurrah.

At least I have an idea what to put into the thing. I have all of this stuff that I've worked on over the past four years and I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to put all of it into my thesis. I figured in the end that I should put in the stuff that I haven't published yet.. that should be unique enough and relevant enough to get a degree and a paper (hopefully).

I guess we'll have to see. I still have to finish this rubidium paper, so once this is out of the way, I'm gonna start writing..

KGL has a new update on that page.. and there's even a picture up (on the front page and the what's new page)! However, you're quite welcome to guess who the heck who is, since I'm not even sure myself!

Speaking of updates, both Sparky and Tiffi have been busy whacking at their keyboards to bring us some news from down south. Tiffi even put up two entries.. Two!! Can it get any better than that? A couple of things I'd like to mention before I rant about Sparky's entry. First of all, despite not specifically stating what her friend did, I could hazard a pretty good guess. But I won't say! You'll have to read about it yourself! Ha!! Secondly, my condolences to the guy. Heck, I'd be howling with laughter if I were there myself. Mind you, I was nearly ROTFL when I read about it. Anyway, the third thing is in regards to her most recent entry. On the top you can see that she's listening to "Canada is Really Big" by..

*drum roll*

The Arrogant Worms! (Squishy would be so happy to hear about that.) And who says that Americans have bad taste in music?!?

Anyway, Sparky has an entry up today with a little quiz on it. Ahh well, not really a quiz, but with a quarter attached (which is worth 35 cents up here) I wouldn't mind hazarding a guess..

*thinks*

Gah, too much of that and I think I'll pop a vein. I can't think of any possible places that could've come from, unless it has anything to do with yutes. (What's a yute?) I doubt it. Anyhoo..

Hey, I might as well mention this before I forget. The first time I ever saw anyone use the word "Anyhoo" was Jax, so kudos to the soon-to-be graduated dancer-wannabe who got me using that word all the time! (Yeah yeah, we'll go dancing sometime.. just give me a call!)

Anyway, go and check out both of their pages, new stuff all around!

I went and tried out the Keirsey test that Jax directed me to a couple of days ago. It came back with what I thought it would come back with. I'm still an iNFj! Yeah, apparently I'm an idealist.. now that's a laugh.

We went out to our weekly lunch at Jose's for burgers again. Our waitress was very perky and energetic. Probably new. The food was actually hot and edible this time, and we were quite pleased with the food. We had asked for separate bills, and when she gave us the bill, our separate costs were all listed there as well as the final tally.

It didn't add up.

Mind you, it didn't add up because it's not supposed to add up. There is no PST (Provincial Sales Tax) unless you purchase a food order of more than four dollars (I think it's four) anything under that, and you only have to worry about GST (Goods and Services Tax). Also, for some odd reason, the PST on the separate bills (except for mine since I didn't have any) was much smaller than expected, as if it was only applied to the drinks, and not the food. In the end, the final tally was more than a dollar off from the combined bill. This made our tip look rather meager (around six percent).

Mind you, those blokes only gave her a ten percent tip. I was the only one who pitched over fifteen percent. In any case, the extra tax on the combined bill exacerbated our tip shortfall. I hope she's smart enough to ring those bills up separately, or I'd better be careful the next time she serves me..

Dusty told me that TG wanted to check out my CV. Pffth! If you want to be able to write a CV, I am probably the last one you'd want to check. Let's just say that I think it looks like crap.

Well, I think it's time for me to get going now. Skating and broomball tomorrow.. I won't get much sleep. Man, it's already late now. What a pain..
