Well, I guess I didn't go skating today. I fired up Homeworld after I got home, and the next time I looked at the clock, it was twenty after three. Needless to say, getting up at eleven meant that going skating was a bust. Next month.. will try harder.
Speaking of Homeworld, on the third misson against a (Kushan) carrier, I was able to capture it, even though I still didn't have carrier technology. I don't understand the game at all.
Oh yeah, remember all those assault frigates and ion cannon frigates I captured in the first couple of missions? Well, I lost them all in the damned.. I mean darned nebula. I was however, able to replace them with nine multiple ion frigates (hee hee).
I know there is a limit for units in the game since I hit the max going against the ghost ship, however, I think it's possible to add more ships if you capture them. I think. Oh well, I'm two-thirds of the way through the game so I should finish sometime this week. I think Dungeon Keeper 2 will be stuck on next. Anyone want to buy a used copy of Homeworld?
Oh yeah, for those of you keeping tabs on Werdna, he mysteriously appeared at our front door tonight. I have yet to ask him where the hell he went off to, but I was a little busy (ha ha.. typed in busty) at the time (damn.. er.. darned ghost ship). I'll interrogate him when I get back.
It snowed today. I don't think it will stay long though since the temperature rose quite a bit, and now it's quite foggy out there. Ah yeah, I just remembered. RHS metioned something about throwing the disc around sometime this winter. I'm all for it! Unfortunately, weirDo has this aversion to the cold, so he might be hard to convince, but I know Dusty will be willing.. Hmm..
Been curious as to what the heck some of these scholarships I got were from. Seems like I got a couple of them because I'm basically the only one in the field! I found that kinda funny.
Better get going. I have to sign up some teams tomorrow and there's that CTRL-A meeting that I should be going to as well. Well, I guess my work is never done huh? I still feel like I'm forgetting something though. Unfortunately I only remember after the fact. Ah well, that's life.
