[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Well, doesn't seem like we went skating yesterday. Not enough time, and I don't think anybody was really into it. How unfortunate. I did wander down to Laz's place to wait for MJO. Told us that his flight was arriving at around six. We got a call from the airport around eight. Gah, apparently his flight was late, but we went to pick him up anyway.

The roads was all slicked up from the freezing rain, and it took us a few minutes to chip off all the ice off of Laz's mini. (I won the toss so he had to drive.) His driveway was so slippery! Most of the time spent clearing the ice was spent trying to stay balanced. Quite a sight to behold.

Anyway, we picked up MJO without a hitch. He asked us what was new, but then remembered that it was pretty mott since he reads about it every day. I gave him the South Park DVD we and played on the computer and talked for a few hours.. made it home fairly late.

weirDo told me to look up "Boomslang" on the net. Just wanted to remind myself.

The plan for today is to go out to dinner with louder and Kyle. I'm gonna see if I can get Zippy to come out as well. We're also gonna go look for a copy of Supremacy since we got to talking about it last night, and it gave MJO and Laz the itch to duke it out again.

Well, that's about it. I best be going now.

[4:00 PM EST - Soon I shall return..]

Well, just finished playing Risk.. actually, I've just finished playing Risk since I was the first one to get beaten. At least it gives me time to update this thing! Anyhoo..

I got picked up by Laz and the three of us went shopping around for Supremacy.

We wanted to find a Toys `R' Us but came up empty handed. The places were we thought had a Toys `R' Us were wrong, or the store had closed. We wanted to go there since we were pretty sure that they would have a copy, and that Laz might pick up a Dreamcast..

*rubs hands gleefully*

Alas, we were unsuccessful, and after calling around, we realized that Supremacy hasn't been in production for years. How unfortunate.

Anyway, louder got to the house as soon as the rest of us made it back, which was pretty coincidental since I was a little afraid that we were going to be late. We couldn't figure out what we wanted to do so we broke out Laz's copy of Risk. Kyle came on by and brought his gf over. We had already started playing our game of Risk so they sat around watching us for a bit before we headed off to Kelsey's for dinner.

We decided on going to watch a movie. Specifically "Galaxy Quest", although it was already eight and the next show was at nine-thirty. Crap. We tried two other theatres and found even worse times for the show, so we went back to the original theatre and got tickets (it was already nine by that time anyway).

The movie was okay, and it's really geared towards Trekies. I don't think it was worth going to see in the movies, but you might want to rent it sometime. There were some pretty good jokes, and I was surprised how good Sigourny Weaver looked (despite being ninety).

Well, we got back and finished off the Risk game and now I'm here. We should be heading back to Waterloo sometime soon so I should finish this up. I've still got that bet to finish, and with ten days before the deadline, I don't know if I can hold out. We'll have to see.

That's about it, I need sleep.
