[Friday, December 24, 1999: Home in one piece..]

Before I left the school, I got rid of another Christmas card by giving it to the bank tellers at school. I guess that's about it. I was pretty happy leaving on Wednesday.

So I made it home in one piece it seems. While I was waiting for weirDo to pick me up, I figured that I could finish off my Baldur's Gate game. Well, I figured on finishing in an hour or so, so I didn't think I'd be able to get the game off my hard drive. Well, I was wrong. weirDo took his time and I was able to finish off the game with my Cleric/Mage. Now I've freed up two gigabytes of space! I wonder what I'm going to install next?

The ride back was fairly uneventful, so I went by Suspect Video to pick up some anime (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflone and MSN). I must say that the CowBe dub is quite good! I'm quite impressed. The MSN dub on the other hand.. Well, it's not as good.

Oh yeah, I brought back a fair bit of clothing and my skates (on the off chance I'll go skating sometime during the break). Anyway, while I was waiting for my bus at the Scarborough Town Centre, I heard a voice beside me ask:

"Do you play hockey much?"

I turned around and saw this guy looking at me. He probably inquired because I had my skates draped over my shoulder. So I talked with him a bit. I'm not a good talker, so I wasn't very responsive. Later in the conversation, he asks me:

"Have you ever met a missionary before?"

It didn't take me long to answer that (the answer was no), so he introduced himself. He seemed like a nice guy, but I was pretty glad that he didn't go on the same bus as I did. Still, it was nice to have a conversation with someone different every now and then.

What I'm wondering is why he talked to me? There were tons of other people around the station, so why did he single me out? Ah well, I guess that's a mystery I'll never find out.

During the conversation, he was telling me about his church (the Jesus Christ church of Latter Day Saints), and on the bus, I remembered how MJO and I was thinking of forming a church of own. It was inspired by a Simpson's episode:

"Oh man, now my PANTS are chaffing me.."

We were going to call it the Church of Chafology. I'd love to explain, but I don't have the time ATM. Maybe later..

Anyway, not too much else happened.. well, I found out that D got engaged! Anyway, I ate dinner, phoned up a couple of people, and went to sleep.

Today, I got a fair bit of chores done. Got a haircut, did some shopping, paid my bills, and returned my tapes.

On the way back, the subway was pretty full, but across from my seat, there was this girl who sorta nodded towards me as if she recognized who I was! Well, I nodded, back.. and it took me a little while to recognize her.. well, sort of. I wasn't exactly sure it was who I thought it was, and secondly, I had forgotten her name! I thought about it for the entire ride and couldn't come up with anything! I felt a little embarrassed, so I didn't actually go up to her and say "hi". Besides, she was busy knitting so I didn't want to interrupt her.

That's about it. Nothing else really happened last night.
