Happy birthday to me.. Happy birthday to me.. Happy birthday online journal net thing with other stuff.. Happy birthday to me..

Yup, it's been a year since that faithful day I decided to update this page. Man.. it's been a while hasn't it?

After a little hiatus, KGL has a new .plan up.

3:30 in the afternoon
an affluent suburb
64 degrees and cloudy

Anyone know where that came from? Oh.. hold on, she's got a new .plan up.

I get some pretty interesting stuff from the CTRL-A mailing list, and one little discussion ended when AgentP mentioned the use of a chainsword:

ObExp : Chainsword, n. Not quite a chainsaw, and not quite a sword. ^_^

Then FlyingS sent out a link to help the rest of us understand..

Surprising number of comments I got recently about the page. The first one came from Growly:

"hey, it's been only a year? seems longer than that... no offence! *grin*"

Grr.. well, it has seemed longer than that hasn't it? One year has passed by so quickly.. Anyway, he also sent me a link to his page of computers that you guys can check out.

The other comment came from girl:

"How come you never told me about the chess bet???"

I found that funny for some odd reason.

Not a very productive day today. The Chemistry department Christmas party was today, and was there a lot of food to go around! I ended up stuffing myself silly with all of the snacks and other goodies they had lying around that I nearly made myself sick..

There was also a door prize draw, and I won, as did weirDo and Dusty. weirDo got a candle thing, Dusty got a box of Turtles, while I ended up with a ten dollar gift certificate for the LLBO. What the heck.. and I don't drink. After I complained about it near the end of the draw, Julie was nice enough to switch my gift certificate with the East Side Mario's gift certificate. Aww.. so she doesn't make fun of me all the time see?

Actually, I should come clean. weirDo won first, and picked one of the small boxes. I had my eye on the gift certificates and waited for my name to be called out. Names are chosen from a box by the previous winner, so this guy had fished out a name and started complaining that he couldn't read the name.

"I can't read this!"

I laughed and commented that it couldn't me mine then. So he continued..

"[QYV]?"

Doh! Everyone around me (all four of them) burst out laughing. So I grabbed my gift certificate and walked off.

There were quite a number of people who showed up to the event. More than last year it seems, even though the event felt a little less organized. It was pretty good though.. although I probably should have talked to more people.

Actually, went back to the party a couple of hours later to see what was going on. Seemed as if most of the food was gone, and that most of the people there were pretty soused. There were actually some people dancing in the reading room (with the lights down of course). I got accosted and asked a number of questions (riddles actually), but I beat a hasty retreat after that.

Both Laz and Growly have both updated their respective homepages.. Growly has been doing the daily update deal, so you may be interested in checking it every day.. (might bump up his counter hits past mine eventually..). One thing about Laz's update.. didn't he use Last Kiss as a title already?

Anyway, weirDo's thinking of bringing his computer to school sometime this weekend.. that should be interesting.. especially since Laz might be coming to town..

Well, enough for now, I'm gonna get going. Oh, there are some things I wanted to talk about.. but I wrote them down so I'll talk about them later. I should see if I can get any sleep tonight, I don't want to keep waking up late!
