Oops. Why do I keep forgetting to update the dates? Ah well, Laz caught my last mistake. I usually find out the day after (when I'm updating the dates and wondering why a day was missing), but by then, it's too late! I think I mentioned something about this before.. Silly me.

KGL's changed that .plan again back to (basically) a previous incarnation. Eh.

Hrumph, that KGL person has way too much time on her hands. There's a new .plan up:

I'm starting to ignore you, I've doubted you so long.
I'm tired of overthinking, I know you don't belong.
Now I'm asking questions - no one pushes me around.
Everybody feels this way sometimes, everybody feels this way -

And I do.
You can't hear it, but I do.
You don't seem angry, but I do.

Lisa Loeb anyone?

So the end of the month is upon us, and the final month of the year, nay, the final month of the 1900's is fast approaching. What will happen? What will become of us? In all likelihood, nothing. How anticlimactic.

Anyway, here comes Y2K! Found this article at ArsTechnica.

Another, unrelated article from ArsTechnica has an interesting link to an article about a possible future for CD-ROMs there's another article from the Register that the ShackNews has linked. 140 GB CD-ROMs? I'll buy one for a dollar! The company's name is C3D and they plan to have something out by the end of next year. I'm gonna wait and see what pops out..

weirDo forwarded me this message from somewhere.. anyway, here's the gist of the message:

As of January 1st 2000, smoking will be prohibited in all bars, restaurants, and pubs in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. The businesses run by the Feds have the ability to be EXEMPT from this mandate.

There's gonna be a vote on this on Sunday. It won't affect me, but it would be interesting to see what happens..

Hmm.. got whisked away tonight on urgent business. In other words, I was offered a ride to the Price Club and couldn't refuse. This meant that I had to drop whatever I was doing so I could clean up and get picked up. Ah well, I guess I'll be going to sleep late tonight.

I have a big fly in my room. I don't know how it got there, but every now and then, I can hear it buzz loudly as it tries in vain to push itself through the window and towards freedom. How ironic that it'll just freeze and die a few minutes after leaving the house.. if it ever figures some way to tunnel through the glass.. (screwed either way..)

There was another fly in the bathroom. And I was wondering why there were so many spiders in the house, I should be asking myself where all the spiders ended up running off to?

Anyhoo, I bladed to school this morning. Quite a refreshing trip, with the sunshine and the chill wind. Definitely woke me up on the way to school. We went out to Jose's for lunch, as usual. Somehow we got five people going this time rather than the usual four. Methinks this weekly pilgrimage may grow in size as time passes..

weirDo and RHS told me about the million dollar winner on that million dollar show. I can't remember the name offhand. That was pretty cool, although by the way they retold the story, it seemed as if it was rigged or something. Oh well.

Anyway, went to the Price Club and I had to get myself some food even though the fridge is basically full of food (mostly mine now). Bah, at least it's incentive to make food rather than go out. It should be cheaper, although I'll be going out tomorrow to the broomball gathering at Jim's place. Should be good!

On the way back to school, I passed some guy who was blading! So there! If you thought I was crazy or something, I can tell you that I am not the only one. Personally, unless there's a good excuse not to do something fun (biking, blading, skipping to school), you should do it.

Been playing a bit with another script (going a little script crazy here). This one actually writes the shell HTML so that I can show my full sized pictures with the same style sheets as my normal pages without needing to write up a separate page for each picture. Check it out if you want. I originally had it also print out a title for each picture, but that required way too much information to be passed (I hate ultra-cluttered links), so I dropped it to simplify things. It works, so I'm happy.

Whoa, that was a long e-mail message. I'm going to call it a night now before I stay up the rest of the.. morning. Gotta see that video tomorrow. Till later then.
