Mmm.. Feeling much better. I wanted to go skating today, but the fact that I hacked around on my computer until way past four, and waking up after noon killed that idea. I won't have another chance until next month! Wah. Yes, yes. For those of you wondering why I was on the computer until four, the answer is simple. System Shock 2. Indeed, I had thought I might be able to finish most of the game, until I found out that the.. well. I won't spoil it for those who haven't played/finished it yet. I'll just say that it was longer than I was first lead to believe.

I finished the game BTW. Some of the twists in the story I had somewhat foreseen, although the way the story unfolded, plus the psychic projections made for a thrillingly macabre plot. Kept looking behind me just in case there was a monkey there. Man that was creepy. The out-of-order retelling of the story through personal log accounts combined with the (few) prescripted events, made the game quite enjoyable. Even the fact that the cutscenes weren't that long didn't take away from the game.. It was good.

Final analysis: Good stuff. Go play. Be careful, they're everywhere..

Played our semi-final game against the team we beat off 4-3 in overtime during the regular season. Mind you, we were short a man (namely the goalie) for the entire game, so I was a little surprised that we won that game. Well, we ended up beating them 3-1, but it was a tough forty minutes. They made us work for all of our points. It was a pretty good game.

A couple of us stuck around to watch the other semi-final against two of the best teams in the league. It was so one-sided that it was laughable. The green team totally dominated the blue team for just about the entire game. The score however was only 1-0. For the blue team. It was one hell of a heart breaker for the green team, since they only had one slip-up, which lead to the goal, and that's all it took. Blue was able to hold off the green team for the entire game, even though the ball was usually in their end. Well, I guess we'll be playing blue in the finals huh?

Laz has updated his homepage this weekend. Go on by and see what he's talking about this time. Actually, I can relate to his plight. Even though I use vim to generate my pages, I have a tendency of pressing that "u" key way too often. Oops.

Tired, late, should go to sleep.
