[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Some of you might think me a little stupid (the rest probably think I'm really stupid), but I just made a bet.. with someone. The deadline being January 15th.. so I'm just reminding myself what the deadline is so that I don't forget.. heheheh.. I'm going to win!!

Updated my CV. Just minor updates, nothing really exciting to report.

Seems like I got weirDo converted on Style Sheets. He's now using it on his homepages.. heheheh. Another one joins in the ranks! Oh yeah, he was working on his page while I was gone. I can see where his site is heading..

I'm planning to change all links to people from direct links to indirect ones.. Man, that's a heck of a lot of grepping..

I think I will switch to relative sizes, and I might switch to relative links. Typing in theochem.uwaterloo.ca every time is such a pain. Tables as well.. man..

I was surprised actually. I should have checked earlier, seeing as it was Halloween and all, but it seems like MJO has updated his page yet again.. which would make it.. twice in a month? My my, if he starts updating at this rate, we should get daily entries in a month!

Oh yeah, Laz has a number of Halloween pictures up on his Sciborg page (more on that later). Anyway, he wants you to guess what he dressed up as. Want a hint? What was his favourite movie this year?

About Laz and his Sciborg page. I believe that the end has come, and the grim reaper has finally come around to relieve him of his five megs of paradise. The powers that be have finally severed access to that account, and so updates are unlikely, which is unfortunate, since he was updating his .plan daily. Anyway, there is work underway to salvage what's left on the account and transfer it.. somewhere. We'll keep you posted. So, for this end of an era, we shall all sit silent for ten seconds..

Time's up! You may continue reading now.

Speaking of updates, KGL has a new .plan up. It's a list of "Laws for Women to Live by" which I won't reproduce here since it's long, and I've already forwarded it to a good number of people. Sorry KGL.

Found two good links on ArsTechnica. The first one has something to do with implanting chips that will allow mental control of appliances.. I dunno, I can't see it with lynx. The second one is an article on wired.com stating that DVD has been cracked. Well that was pretty quick huh?

Well, whetted my appetite checking out some of the newer games out there (or coming out) Daikatana may not be vapourware after all, while Half-Life: OpFor should be out soon.. Freespace 2 may actually be a good game, while Final Fantasy VIII will be grabbed off the shelf before you can even say "wait!".

On that note, I'm going to go home. Got a couple more slides to print, but It doesn't seem like I'll be finishing anything anytime soon. Hmm.. tables..
