Last night, I picked up some milk and bread and got home at a good time, and around nine, I figured that I finally finish off Heavy Gear II. By the time I had finished, it was one in the morning. When I said finished, I mean that I got fed up with trying to replay that same mission and went to bed. Ahhhh!!!! I'll never finish that game..
I still got up earlier than I did last week, which is a good sign. The weather today wasn't particularly nice (all cloudy and stuff) but it did clear up to the end of the day revealing a very nice sunset. Ahh..
I found a few more bugs in my code, but it seems like it's working now. *knocks on desk* (it's made of synthetic wood wannabe if you were wondering.) Found out that with the extra data (four new lines to a set of twelve thousand) I needed one more parameter (one more to sixteen). Do you know what this means? This means that I need to recalculate all of my parameters. Again. *hangs head*.
Took me a couple of weeks to do that last time.. *looks at watch* oh, and I'm going to Cornwall in three days!! Oh goody.
Got an invitation to the Science Awards Banquet this year. I don't care what it's for, as long as I get fed for free, I'm gonna show up! Woo hoo!
Went to the Math C&D for lunch. weirDo and RHS had both brought their lunches, so it was just Dusty and me.. well, I didn't talk to anybody this time, which might have surprised weirDo, but Dusty was contemplating something.
He was telling me how a number of people have inquired to him about continuing to do a PhD. He basically talked about it for the entire lunch period, but his response, seems much like mine. He'll figure it out when he gets there.
I've also been asked that question by a good many people. All I've told them was all that I know myself. I don't know. *shrug* I really don't know.
I gotta go through the rest of my food sometime this week, probably tomorrow since the show is on Friday. Hmm.. not like there's much left in there to clear out, just a loaf of bread, milk, and two eggs. Oh yeah, there's also a bottle of oyster sauce.. mmm..
I went home to eat dinner before skating today, watched some Law & Order as well. It was such a good episode (the capital punishment one - BTW, they're all good, I only leave if I've seen it before) that I ended up watching until the end. That also meant that I was late for skating.. (twenty minutes late). Ah well.
I also ate too much and too late. Ended up with a cramp on the way to school, although it disappeared on the way to skating.. basically spent the whole period that I was there working on the Salchow. I'll get it one of these days.. just need a bit more practise..
Got a broomball game soon, since it wasn't right after skating (one of the few times) I decided to come down here and check on my runs. Seems like I might have to rerun some more fits, since I didn't check for energy convergence first! Gah!! At least this time I don't lose that much time (I didn't have that much in the way of data with the new data set yet.
Should get going, I don't know if we'll have a goalie for this game. It's against the only other undefeated team in the league, and they played against all of the teams we didn't play against (which means that they're good since we seemed to have played all the weaker teams so far). Hope I'm up to it!

Well, what can I say? They're pretty good. We'll have to be very careful of them in the playoffs, since they know how to play as a team. They were even missing their goalie and a couple of the best players, so we really have to be careful.. dang. We did win 3-2, but we went up 3-0 in the beginning when they were short a man, and when they had that girl playing. But once they had a full team of their regular guys, we had a tough time keeping them out of our zone..
Mind you, we haven't played defensively in a competitive team yet, which would explain why we're so bad at it. Oh well. Will have to work at it..
Now it's time to go.. better get some rest. Will try to finish most of the poster tomorrow..
