Woke up early since I told LXC to wake me up before the lunch buffet thing. He told me that a bunch of people were going to get together at the park for some disc throwing and maybe a game of ultimate. I was able to convince my sister to come along to funny enough. We actually had nine people show up, which is enough (barely) for a somewhat enjoyable game. I should have stretched though. I'm quite sore ATM.
Met a bunch of people (from the Woburn Buffet Team) that I hadn't seen for a couple of years. Didn't get to talk to them that much since they sat at the other end of the table during lunch. Oh yeah, we went to the Sunshine restaurant for the buffet, but when we got there, we found out that it wasn't a full meal buffet, just a salad bar buffet. Mind you, there was a bit more than salad they had there, but I was not particularly hungry and I wasn't in the mood for rabbit food.
Ended up ordering some eggs Benedict instead.. not exactly healthy.. but heck, I washed it down with a chocolate shake. Mmm!
Now the plan is to get together and have a Magic: The Gathering game.. haven't played that in.. oh.. two years? Been a long time.. and we've been waiting for quite some time for the rest of the guys to show up..
So, I'm currently in Toronto.. thought I would've been back in Waterloony by now, by I've got to stay here tonight for Thanksgiving dinner (my parent's weren't home last night). Still I got to do a fair bit of stuff this weekend. Much more than I had anticipated (Especially with LXC running around finding things to do). One of my more interesting ventures was the purchase of Homeworld and Civ II Gold. After seeing the game for the first time at Laz's place on Saturday, I knew that I had to buy myself a copy. Once I finish up Brood War, I'm going to have to spend a weekend plodding through that game. *drums fingers gleefully* Well, I should get going. Will report back later..
