[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

It rained this morning. I'm a little worried about bringing my blades back home today since I have a broomball game tonight. The game ends pretty late though..

Speaking of the game, I've been told that I might have to grab a couple of people.. oh good, thank you for giving me time to call people up. I'm not too worried, I have faith that enough people will show up for a good game.

Opted to skip out on today's rec skate. I figured that I should show up at the show on time. Besides, I woke up a little later than expected and didn't have much time to spare. How unfortunate. There's always tomorrow, assuming that I'll get up sometime reasonable..

Found out when we walked in to EL101 that some of the engineers (during their Scunt) rearranged the black seats in the room from 2004 (as it was set up during frosh week) to TOOL. Impressive, since it took six people only forty-five minutes to rearrange the chairs. Of course, we still have to remove some of the chairs for the projector and equipment. Ack.

Heh.. seems like I've been getting more new guests recently. SLWD just recently added a comment to my Guestbook! Happy happy!

The show was good as always, although we did have another problem with not being able to find one of the episodes of Card Captor Sakura.. We found it eventually, but still ended up showing a bit too much live action JPop.. ooh. Not saying that it's bad.. well..

Anyway, while I was running to the bank machine in the DWB, some guy walking into E2 must have seen me, and started chanting..

"Go! Go! Go!"

It wasn't long before the rest of his friends started to join in the chant. What was I to do? I whooped as I ran. Hey, it seemed prudent at the time.

Something did bother me though, while I was talking to the terrible threesome upstairs, one of them asked if I was going to cry. (Me? Cry?!?) He told me that my eyes were a little red. The other two seemed to agree. That kind of shocked me since I didn't feel any of my normal allergic effects today. I went into the washroom, and sure enough, my eyes seemed a little bloodshot.

Although I didn't feel tired, my best explanation would be possibly a mix of lack of sleep and watching too much anime. But come on, when has too much anime killed someone? *thinks* Don't answer that.

Anyway, it's not that bad a case of redeye. I won't go off eating peoples' brains or anything.. yet.

So, the show ended off without a hitch. Gotta remember to see if I can get a copy of "I can hear the sea" to show off at some point in time. Very good drama type movie. That, Nadesico, and Cowboy Beebop. Good stuff. Hmm.. how about Thanksgiving weekend?

The broomball game tonight was fun, despite the fact that we had no subs but still completely outclassed the other team. There was this one girl who must have been a neophyte since she went all out on the ice. She wasn't particularly good, but she did put in quite a bit of effort. Unfortunately, by going all out, she had a tendency of crashing a lot into the boards or on the ice, and eventually fell on her tailbone with ended the game (it was basically over anyway). I bumped into a number of the people on the other team, but everybody was very friendly about it.

My first goal was pretty cheesy, I tipped in a dribbler while in the middle of traffic that happened to go between the goalies legs and deflect in. The other one was from a good pass which I had time to tee up and blow by the goalie. I had many chances, but Riston told me to try one-timing my shots (for practise for our competitive games) and I couldn't seem to get the ball in. I got a fair number of good passes, but I still need quite a bit of work. Besides, the games we played were on pretty good ice today, and will be nothing like the crappy ice for some of our other games. We'll have to see.

It is getting late, and I should see if I can get a bit more food into me before I go to bed.
