[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

There were a few things I forgot to mention during my tired stupor last night. Passing Lester on my way to school the second time with Werdna, there was this huge lineup of cars waiting to make a left turn onto Columbia. I hadn't seen so many cars on Lester since the postponed Canada day fireworks in July. The only reason I could think of this was for the toga party, but I'm not really sure.

Speaking of the toga, unlike tonight (which is quite warm and humid) last night was very cold. I would say that the temperature was in the single digits since we could see our breaths in the air. One of the leaders asked me about hot chocolate, but we couldn't find anything within the toga party area. It wasn't until later when we bumped into another leader who just happened to be drinking some hot chocolate that we found out that there was a hot chocolate and coffee table for leaders outside of the area. Woo hoo! We headed to the table to find that all of the hot chocolate had already been taken, and since I don't drink coffee, I was pretty SOL. I didn't feel particularly cold, but I don't think my body appreciated being out in that sort of weather for very long. I began to cough a lot as the night wore on, which is one of the reasons why I ducked back to my office last night.

Last night, I also remember seeing this girl with one of the leaders who looked a lot like Squishy, except that she had curly hair. It was kind of dark, so I could've been wrong. Maybe it's the nose. I think they have the same kind of nose.

Speaking of girls, one of the (male) frosh leaders asked me (sort of out of the blue)

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

Wha? Uhh.. no.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?"

Well.. kind of..

"Do you want me to hook you up?"

Huh? Well no, that's alright.. It kinda caught me off guard there. I don't think we ever mentioned that subject again.

I did actually go back to the toga party after my update. However, I was not in the mood to hang around, being tired and cold and all, and only stuck around for a few minutes before I got fed up and left (since they didn't play Mambo Number Five). Ah well, I needed the sleep.

Did I ever. Got up this morning around eleven-thirty and still felt like crap. The only thing that got me up was my coughing. Spent the entire day on my computer. Werdna lent me his copy of Heavy Gear 2 and I tried it out. Not bad, the default controls are pretty poorly placed, but the game play isn't that bad. The only gripe I have is that one of the missions keeps crashing on me. Just like in Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries (tells you a thing or two about Activision huh?). The only time it didn't crash was when I finished the mission by killing off a couple of my guys.

I shouldn't have brought my jacket. I was expecting it to be cold tonight much like last night (I haven't been listening to the weather reports recently) but boy, am I sweltering now..

Starting to be a little more strict with my HTML. No more unclosed paragraph tags, I'll have to go through my site and change all of them. Oi, that will be a day long task. Should get going. Starting to tire, and I need to get some sleep tonight since I doubt my life will get any easier next week..
