[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Well, last night was a good waste of time I guess. I didn't really do anything productive. The dinner was a pseudo club meeting, and we hammered out the outline for anime 101, a little project we have in store for the frosh coming in this fall. Ended up making it home around one in the morning, and I was so dead tired that I didn't want to get dropped off at the office to get my blades. What a pain.

So, this morning I walked to school. A nice day today, too bad I never went outside to enjoy it. Well, I wanted to go outside, but when I asked weirDo if he wanted to go out, he told me to call up RHS and then something happened..

I guess this was a little embarrassing, but I phoned up RHS's lab to see if he was going to be interested in throwing the disc today (we haven't seen the boy in weeks). Well, apparently, he had just left the lab, so I was cursing and screaming (playfully) into the phone, complaining about the bad timing that that boy had. This went on for a couple of minutes. So after calming down, I continued talking with KAT (who was on the phone) and turned around to notice that RHS was behind me. He's behind me?!?!?

"Oh my god!"

Well, I guess I found out where he went! Somehow I couldn't get myself to stop laughing for a few minutes. I wonder how long he was waiting back there listening to my tirade?

Just been told by RHS about a very nice Unix product called Star Office which is freeware and will let you throw away your copy of Microsoft Office. This program was developed by some German group (I've been told, but it might be wrong) but Sun got their hands on it (just recently I might add, here's the article) and is distributing it in North America. Apparently it can read Office documents (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and can do just about everything you need to do on a computer, including mail, browse, and news (It even looks like the windows GUI interface). Now all they have to do is get more gaming support for Linux and then I'm switching over!

Just got a great line from SDS:

"I'm not whipped, I'm just well-trained."

Yeah. Whatever.

Talked to one of the frosh coordinators and found out what the hell was going on for frosh week. I guess I won't be able to go home this weekend, although I don't know how functional I'll be next week when the frosh arrive. This will probably be my last chance to be a leader, so I figure I might as well do it once more before I get too old..

I also checked out the new personality site that I found via links starting from MJO's site. So I updated the profile that I had on line, and linked up the profile at the site.

Well, the plan was to watch a movie tonight. My idea for an early show got shot down, since HNT and others wanted to go to the late show (I don't know who the others were). Then I got mail hinting at the contrary, and now I'm confused, dazed, and hungry. (I've been hungry for the past half hour). Organization is not one of our high points. Ah well, let's see what happens huh?
