[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

On the way back home, I noticed a campus security car under the chemistry overpass.. Hmm.. I wonder what was going on?

HNT told me that we (we being Jake and I) should clean out the bathroom since it was a mess. Seeing as I usually shower with my glasses off, I tend not to notice how bad the tub gets until I actually feel the gunk attaching to my feet, but I didn't think it looked that bad.. except for the clumps of hair.. eww.. I've been in worse.

Woke up not so early again. Well, it was a tad bit earlier than yesterday, but I really should go to bed earlier. Made it to school, and the first thing I'm told to do is to rip out the wiring in my room. Oh good. We had recently switched our network over from thinwire to RJ-45, and we had the thinwire loop still installed in the lab. Being a fire hazard, I guess we had to take it out. Fortunately, the people who installed the wire kept most of it exposed and attached them to various objects with ties. Unfortunately, they must have used a year's supply of ties in our lab, and my room had the great distinction in actually having the wiring covered in various places. On top of that, what was not covered, was basically attached to the ceiling. Did I mention that our ceilings were ten feet high? To top things off, all of the furniture happened to be in the way and had to be moved. Also.. since we were pulling out the thinwire, why not pull out all of the other cables that we weren't using? Good idea. However, fifteen years of networking means that a lot of cables get used, and pulling them out became a nightmare! (Holy ties Batman!)

I finished my room by one of the clock. Just in time for lunch. So I left the furniture where it lay, and went out to eat.

Hmm.. for lunch, Dusty dragged weirDo and I out to Jose's Noodle Factory for their two buck burgers. Mmm.. for two dollars, it wasn't half bad! During the meal, our conversation shifted towards car talk. Unfortunately, I have no stinking idea about cars except how to drive one (and that's currently under contention as well). However, when asked, weirDo said that he'd probably get himself a delSol if he had the money.

Hey! I've heard of that!

That got me interested in it again, seeing how much I liked ALee's 95 del Sol (I called it the CR-X). So after work, I started searching for more information about the model on the net. I have a funny feeling that Honda isn't producing any more del Sols as I couldn't find any reference to them on their 1999 models page. After a bit of snooping, I found a site that listed the del Sols as being produced from 1993 till 1998. Hmm.. there go any ideas of getting a new one!

During the conversation, I also asked how much a Dodge Stealth would cost (an arm and a leg for a new one apparently). Hrumph. Went to look it up. Guess what I found? I didn't realize that the Stealth was an exact copy of Mitsubishi's 3000GT! Read it all on this article. So I guess I won't be buying one new after all? Well, went to the Dodge site and, sure enough, they had the Viper out.. might as well check it out huh?

Oi.. first one car, then another, and then I was surfing around looking at all the models! Ahh.. well, enough about that, let's get back to lunch.

At the end of our meal, I noticed some girl walking by our window, and I guess she looked inside. I didn't think much about it until we left the restaurant. I was looking around and we passed by her table, I recognized her as being the window watcher, but then she looked at me and smiled as if she recognized me! What the..? Uhh.. err.. I smiled back, with that sorta sheepish I-don't-know-what's-going-on sorta faces, and quickly exited the restaurant.

Ah yeah.

Stopped off at the HMV for a couple of minutes. Took a look at the Frosh tunes 2 CD. Holy moly, some of those tunes were ancient! Amazingly enough, I actually recognized most of them! We nearly broke out laughing when I noticed that It's not Unusual (The Tom Jones classic) was on the CD.. tempted me to grab a copy..

Maybe later.

Came back and continued to clean out the mess that we left before lunch. Seeing as we were already in the mood, we pulled out the wiring in the computer room, the book room, GBC's room, the other two rooms, and threw away all the wiring. There was more ties and wires than.. well, I have no comparison. It was that much. We're still not finished yet. I did manage to clean up my room a bit. Although the wiring was invisible, I feel as if a fair bit of clutter has been removed, and I took this chance to rearrange my room a bit (not really) to take advantage of some unused space. I'd take pictures, but I have no camera.

Speaking of which, I was thinking of picking up a camera sometime. The Coolpix 950 sounds good (Laz has the 900S), but when I checked the cost at Henry's.. $1500?!? Even if it's in Canadian dollars I think I'll pass.

Time to check out those forsale newsgroups huh?

Oh! A 1996 Pontiac Sunfire for $9900.. Hmm.. and a Palm III for $300 not ba..

The computer crashed. Again.

Hmm.. (Trying to imitate Marge Simpson) This is really starting to bother me.
*brandishes ten ton mallet* (You can tell it's ten tons since it's written on the mallet)
Gah.. Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent..
*discards mallet*
Hmm.. Stress relief is good for you..
*brandishes twenty ton mallet*
Gah.. I'd have to pay for it..
*discards mallet*
Hmm.. I can blame weirDo..
*brandishes thirty ton mallet*
Gah.. Nobody would believe me..
*discards mallet*
Hmm.. But no one liked the new computer..
*brandishes forty ton mallet*
Gah.. Except my boss..
*discards mallet*
Hmm.. What the hell..
*brandishes fifty ton mallet*
Gah.. I'd just miss and hit my foot..
*discards mallet*

I give up. Ah! Lightning!! I'm going home.
