[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

On my way out from the computer lab last night, I think I saw someone who was actually checking out my page (ah heck, how many people use the same bizarre colour scheme as me?). That brought out a laugh in me, since I didn't recognize this person. I mean, why the heck would someone who doesn't know me check out this page?

It was a bit more humid than I had anticipated last night. That made it somewhat uncomfortable to get to sleep. Couple this to the fact that the crickets were amazingly loud last night and it was a recipe for a long and restless night. Ugh. I was woken up this morning by a number of people outside making noise.. some power or phone thing. That and the fact that the crickets just don't know when to stop. Do those bugs ever go to sleep??!?

It rained a fair bit before I headed off to school, so blading was out of the question. So I stuck on my sandals and trudged to school. I hadn't worn my sandals in more than a month and it sure felt like it. The soles of my feet felt as if they were gonna get completely rubbed off, and I didn't even walk very far.. (I still have to walk back home too!)

Lunch was a little less than interesting as the Math C&D was a little lacking in the selection department. I haven't seen a Jamaican patty in there for months, and all the pastries are gone by the time I get there. Oi.

weirDo was laughing at me for using "Yo", so I told him.

"'Yo' is 'You' without the 'u'."

Like that would make him stop laughing.

We got a new PC in our lab to replace Bernstein. Keel is a Celeron 400 with 64 megs of ram, but the speed boost isn't really noticeable unless we try running games on it or something..

Hmm..

We renovated the place a bit. Moved some desks around and got rid of the terminals that were cluttering up the rooms. It looks a bit better now, but we still have to switch networks sometime next week.. goody goody!

Found out what an arrowroot was. How come only babies eat that stuff?

Talked with Gabi a bit and she asked me the question that everyone else seems to ask me.

"What are you going to do when you finish?"

I have two answers to that. My usual

"Move into the forest and live as a hermit."

And my more normal

"I don't know."

I chose my latter answer this time, and.. come to think of it, they're both basically saying the same thing. What bugs me is that I'm not really worried. Que sera, sera. Hmm.. That's probably why I freak my parents so much.

Oh yeah, I was also told by someone (after seeing a picture) that she thought that Laz looked like one of those Japanese Idol Singers..

Really?

I'll leave that on the floor and let you guys think about that.

Speaking of Idols, seems like a little bugging here and there helps, since Jax's updated her site (a bit). Check and see if you found anything different!

On ZDNet, I read up that Iridium has filed for bankruptcy. After all that hubbub with satellite communications, this didn't shock me too much. I also read that the Palm VII is coming out soon. Should be interesting what the third-party software programs can do for it (for e-mail and web access). Would like to get my grubby hands on one of them!

Got a few more pictures documented.. halfway done..

Hoi ya.. this is quite bizarre.. after a quick and dirty downpour (with lightning and all), the clouds have given way to semi clear skies. The strange thing is that the entire sky was red. I mean, bright red. This made the light red and gave the outside view a crazy red tinge. Quite freaky. It's as if someone put on a red filter on the sky (since everything inside looks normal). It's some weird combination of the clouds with the setting sun that's causing this red rain, but boy, was it surprising the first time I peeked out.. It's too bad I don't have a camera to record this incident.

Man, the sunset looks truly remarkable..

On that note, I'm going home..
