[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Man, I was so tired this morning. Went to bed earlier than last night, but I just couldn't get to sleep until the wee hours in the morning. Woke up a little late, and very tired. Add the allergies and I wasn't feeling all too hot.

It didn't help that it was raining off and on today, nor the fact that something must have killed my hard drive when I sent it off to Toronto. Pathetic fallacy? Perhaps. At least my account didn't puke when I paid my Visa bill this morning.

Finally got the last bit of wiring out of the lab. Even took out the last coax in the ceiling which I forgot about until I was putting the equipment away. It's all clean now! Clean clean clean!! Hahahahaha!! Fifteen years of wiring, all pulled out in two days. Boy it was tough work, and tiring considering that we really didn't need strength, just a hell of a lot of balance.

I've finally finished reading all of AgentP's entries on his site. Makes me want to go to visit Japan for a while. Mind you, his entries did stop at the end of 1998 (he was there for another seven months), and he did focus on two major topics.. Ah well, I found this entry somewhat entertaining.

Wednesday, October 21, 1998.

4:00 pm. I saw something pretty funny today. Someone stuck the little "Intel inside" sticker from their computer onto one of the trashcans in the lab. I want to find one of the Microsoft "Where do you want to go today?" stickers and put it on my toilet.

I completely forgot about Microsoft's jingle thing. Hrumph.

Been cleaning up my HTML a bit. Realized how sucky the colour scheme was in default settings. The fact that I used FONT tags to highlight my quotes meant that anyone not using style sheets would still see the colours that I chose, which meant that it looks like crap since the default background is gray. I'm slowly remedying that. I'm also highlighting with underlines rather than colour. It's not as dramatic, but it's much more universal. This I should also do with me CV, which looks pretty crappy to begin with. I guess too much colour leads to major tackiness..

I'm also wondering how I'm going to force the page format. Of the number of pages that I've looked at, most of them use tables to format their text and boxes. A little cumbersome, but much more accessible than style sheets. Mind you, without style sheets, the page automatically goes into default styles, which won't make a lick of difference anyway if I use tables or not. Ah.. decisions, decisions..

Still waiting for MJO to put up his homepage. He promised that it would be up in the next couple of days.. I would like to see what sort of stuff he'll have on it (and add it to my frequently visited page list). I'll keep you posted.

I like Laz's biography about himself (also known as the Hwan.FAQ). So it's in text format.. I didn't notice (since I was using Lynx). I've been thinking of putting up something similar here, but there are two reasons not to. I'm a little wary of putting too much information up here (despite the fact that I still claim that nobody, apart from the four regulars [you know who you are!], ever comes to visit here). Secondly, my memory is a little lacking. I only remembered about the names because I had a list I put up ages ago. (I still can't remember where Jeremy came from).

Do I say bus a lot? I mean, why the heck is my page showing up on a web search for bus schedules? Ohh.. maybe I just increased the likeliness of increasing the relevancy by saying "bus schedules". Oh! There I go again! I really should stop saying.. okay, I'll stop.

I've been wondering, through life, we've been told if there was something that we liked to do, then we should do it. But what if we liked someone? Hmm.. and along those lines..

It's not what you do, it's who you do.

With that, I'm going to do dinner.
