[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Been told by a certain cooking aficionado that my explanation of stew cooking was wrong. Whoops. I should actually cook the stew a bit longer if I wanted to make the meat a bit more tender. Unfortunately, I was hungry, and it was already one in the morning, so I ate it as it was. It wasn't THAT bad, and I had some last night as well, and it was.. okay.

My god. It seems as if Laz is finally back up and got a new update on his page. The withdrawal must have been unbearable. A couple things I should mention, I did figure out a way around the "save game delete" problem with Rogue, but it was only because I had a similar problem when I was playing it's successor: Angband. Man that was a long time ago. Never actually finished the game. Got damned close, since I did meet Morgroth, except he kicked my piddly little a..butt without even trying (I never had a chance). Ow.

It also seems as if Laz is a little hooked on Half-Life: Team Fortress Classic. Heheheh.. now all I have to do is get HNT convinced, and I could put those two with weirDo (with other people playing of course) and see who comes out on top!

One more thing, Last Kiss is a great song. I would like to hear the original (I believe it was performed originally by Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers) although the Pearl Jam version is so powerful. Speaking of which, after hearing it everywhere a couple of months ago, I haven't heard it anywhere since the beginning of July. People find it too depressing or something? Ah well.

It seems as if the ILS is back up and running at full steam. They've paired up with Songfile so they can do this lyrics thing a bit more legally.. whatever. (I don't like how Songfile shows their lyrics) Anyway, I'll give the ILS a month or so before they restock their list of lyrics.. I've got a fair list to check out..

I think I got hit by another allergic attack this morning. I'm feeling much better now, but boy, with the good weather we've been getting, I hope I don't feel too bad not to enjoy it.

I also heard that both the PAC and the CIF are closed for the next two weeks. Wah! I wanted to go skating..

This morning, I purposefully waited in my room to listen to the news so that I could catch the weather forecast. As I tuned in to the stories that were being reported, my mind latched onto one of those stories and I began to think about that clip and drift off.. until the commercial came on and I realized that I just missed the forecast. Dang! And you might wonder why I never dress properly for the weather. I guess I tend to do something like this as well during lectures when my mind is feeling a little lazy. I notice something that's mildly interesting and tend to block out everything else.. until the lecture is over. Great waste of an hour.

Peeking out of my window this afternoon, I noticed my tennis instructor sauntering down the path in front of my building. Just wanted to mention that.

Went to the two goblets for dinner. Wanted to go and watch a movie, but the late movie was much too late for us (10 pm) so we decided to go home. Speaking of which, I should get going, I'm getting tired, and I've got some bookkeeping to do..
