[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

It started to rain as I put on by blades on the way home yesterday. I figured that I could beat the downpour if I went full throttle all the way home, so I turned on the jets and started heading east. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw this guy bolting towards the street I was headed too. He was going very fast and could possibly overtake me. I don't think so. I turned on my after burners and left him in the dust. Making a left turn at ring road, I heard something, so I turned to see if the guy was still there and.. hey.. waitaminute. I know this guy! He (AgentP) was shouting something.. something to the effect of "slow down".

Oops.

I let him catch up, and the rain started to come down a bit harder. I figure I might as well walk with the guy, since he was going home, and didn't have an umbrella either. *sigh* While we were slowly making our way back to our respective abodes, the rain started to come pouring down, getting me soaked, and getting my blades wet. That annoyed me. I didn't want them to get wet lest the bearings started rusting on me. I didn't have too much of a choice tho, since I didn't have a bag large enough to carry them in, so I tried to shield them with my body and avoid any unnecessary puddles on the way home.

I made it.. a little more wet than I had expected, but I think my blades will survive. Played Baldur's Gate the rest of the night, working on my new Cleric-Mage. She should be one heck of a something by the time I'm finished with her..

It rained off and on the rest of the night, and it was pretty overcast and cool this morning. Again, I got up late. Geez, I should go to bed early tonight. Should try to get up in the morning at least.

Worked on the journal again. Nearly finished the Cross-Canada trek. That would leave the week in Vancouver to do. Gah. I also fiddled around with the some little things that were bothering me. The monitor on Bernstein had a very bad tube. It was very dark, and made reading text very difficult. That's one reason why I changed all of my font colours to have very bright hues. Hmm.. Can't be bothered to change them back tho. At least choosing a smaller font won't make the text too much harder to read, so I set the body font size to 11pt. If that's too small, then tell me (but if it is too small, then how would you be able to read this to tell me? Ahh.. whatever).

Wow.. after coming out of the chemistry computer lab, I was rewarded with bright sunshine and a clear blue sky. It seems as if the morning rains and noon clouds have given way to a bright sunshiny day! Mmm.. and it's not hot at all, nice and cool, just how I like it. I'm very tempted to drop everything I'm doing right now (which would be updating this beast) and just go outside to wander..

Maybe later..

Finished up the July entries.. have to finish up August now.. Finished marking those assignments as well. Man, what a nice sunset.. I should go home and eat now.
