It was a very nice day today. Somewhat warmer than the cool weather we've been getting in the past week or so. That's too bad, I like cool weather (can run around outside a bit longer). We still went outside to throw the disk for a while, came in early due to the heat tho *gasp*. I think I'm getting a lot better with throwing the sidearm now. I feel much more comfortable throwing it that way than forehand now (I guess that's what happens when you use the sidearm most of the time). Now the next thing to learn is the hammer throw..
Yesterday we checked out all of the terminals and equipment to see which ones still worked. Found three that were completely FUBAR, so we put them aside. After a bit of complaining today, (after cleaning out my keyboard) I was given a form to get rid of them, and by tomorrow, they should be gone! Yay! More space for new computers!!
Found out today that congratulations were in order for T! Way to go girl! Of course, I probably should have wrote down the date a long time ago, so I wouldn't have been as surprised when she e-mailed us =).
Jax came by to visit. Got a little lost or something on the way in, but bumped into me as I was going out of my office to get something.. (I can't remember anymore, but I never got it) Anyway, Jax was complaining that last time my office was in a different room and things were moved around a bit. So I explained the renovations and stuff.. (which was a while ago too.. hmm.). Anyhoo, after going through my photo album (I really should hide the thing, every time a new person comes to visit, they always want to see the thing) Jax told me that Jax knew OMok! What the hey? Does everyone know OMok?!? Boy, I've got to ask this boy how he gets around =)
Also, after going through most of my album, Jax mentioned that it seemed as if most of my friends were female..
No.. *thinks* Nah..
I disagree, but chacun à son gout.
I've been debating with myself for a long time, about putting pictures on this site. The fact that I have all of these pictures of people (one who I really don't know), but have none of me.. man, isn't that a little hypocritical? Well, you must have heard some story about this person putting up a picture of themselves on their page and then getting stalked (in some form or another). But the catch is, these people are usually female, and good looking (at least the ones who told me these stories were). Since I am neither, I have nothing to worry about.
In an earlier incarnation of this site, I had pictures of the spods that I had on my Homepage listing. I took them off because of the above possibility. I can't put any good looking females on without the possibility of them being stalked, and I can't put up other female pictures up since they'll think that they're bad looking, and I can't put any male pictures up due to equality of sexes.
Seems like I painted myself into a corner now. Ah, but what if I put up pictures that were in the same context of a story I was telling? Like showing how much fun we had during our ride in the prairies. Now that wouldn't be that bad..
So you see the kind of poor arguments I kept having with myself? In the end, I told myself.. "Ah, what the [fuddyduddle], I'll just put up some pictures", and that was that.
I've started putting up some pictures from the trip, their descriptions are with the rest of the pictures, but a more contextual description would be found in the journal. I didn't have time to write up descriptions for all of the pictures yet, but you can try to find all of the pictures in the journal. Good luck, since I didn't change any of the text!
There was a softball practice that I probably should have gone to, but I'm not really in the mood, and I should go home and eat sometime soon. I have a couple of things to do for tomorrow, but I think I should clean up that article I'm writing.. still quite rough.
