[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Oi.. I was able to keep myself from turning on the computer once I got home, but after my shower, I was too tempted to see what was going on in the world of television. Not too much it seemed, although Drugstore Cowboy was on, and it was rather entertaining, until I realized that it was pushing three and I should go to bed, lest I wake up late from skating.

I wasn't too far off the truth there. I woke up this morning a little tired, wondering how much time I had before the recreational skating time (usually around noon). I checked my clock. Twelve-thirty.

*groan*

I rolled over and went back to sleep.

I did get up eventually.. probably around two something, but I didn't check. Turned on my computer and went back to hacking at the last Zerg mission. I eventually finished it a little while later (it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.. just had to be a bit more patient that's all). So, I killed the overmind, and.. what.. wait.. no.. another mission?!? Gah!

This came as a total surprise. All of the other campaigns had eight missions, the Zerg campaign on the other hand, seemed to have nine. This was rather unfortunate, I had hoped to finish it and give it to Laz sometime soon.

While I was hacking away at this extra mission, I got a call from Laz (who was in town) telling me that he'd be over in half an hour. Hmm.. I was still not exactly dressed in my most appropriate attire, so I pulled myself away from the game and took a shower. (Still hadn't finished yet.)

Laz came by fairly promptly, and he brought along Growly and the girls. We ended up sticking around my place for an hour or two showing off some of the newer games we had (Homeworld and Rainbow Six). They were quite impressed. I was able to satiate Growly's desire for games with some of my old collection. That should keep him busy for a month or so.

Since we spent so much time at my place, we didn't go out to Dooley's for pool, instead, we dropped off Growly and SJ before checking out the Cave and having dinner. By the time we had finished that, Laz had to go. That kind of sucked. We didn't really get to do much.

Ah well, back to Brood War.

It was a tough mission (because of the time limit) but I was able to finish it after a bit of luck. Happy with my success, I sat back and waited for the cut-scene.. which never came. To my astonishment, another (ahh!) mission screen came up. *sob*

The never ending game.

So we're up to ten Zerg missions as opposed to the eight Terran and Protoss missions.. this is taking much longer than I had anticipated.. next time, I should just delete the game and say that I finished it.

It shouldn't be that hard.. I think I have a good idea how to finish the mission, at least I'm not constrained by time. What a pain..

Did a bit of HTML cleaning while I was doing some runs.. geez this is tedious. The path to clean code is littered with bugs and typos. Time to figure out an easier way to do this..

Getting late, I should wake up sometime before ten so that I can get to school at a respectable time.. here's to hoping!
