Oh.. I feel sick. I think I'm just gonna lie down here and groan for a while. Seeing as I'm not being productive, I might as well update this thing.
Last night had a bit more stuff going on than I mentioned yesterday. I was able to go and buy a fan for my CPU, as a well as a case fan. Fortunately, there was still one more fan in stock which I snapped up (since they're not producing any more Celeron Slot-1 CPU fans). Unfortunately, I didn't have enough money on hand. So, I had to head back to the school to get enough money to pay off for the thing. While I was getting my money out of the ABM (or ATM) I heard someone say..
"[QYV]!"
What the.. it was SK! Funny how I looked in that direction and didn't notice him. What surprised me even was that RB was there with him! Whoa. I didn't exactly know what to say except.. "Hey!". Not quite a profound statement. I was sorta in a rush to get my fan though, so I didn't sit to chat. Besides, I'll be seeing them around later right?
Anyway, I got the fan, and hurried back home to see how it runs. It worked! Yay! Now I can play without using that clunky old fan. Play what you ask? System Shock 2 of course! I played that for a couple of hours last night, making it a little past where I had finished off when I was at Laz's place. I took heed of the warnings weirDo gave me when he went through these parts and went past without a hitch.
This morning, I continued on where I left off, taking a break only to take a shower and eat breakfast. After a dozen hours, I've nearly finished clearing out the Von Braun. Werdna tells me that I'm only halfway done. Gah! I hope to finish by tomorrow.
Seems like weirDo's been playing around with his new site. I thought he was going to rename it, but I guess it's going to be Area 51B for a while yet. Here's what he put up.

Now before you all collectively roll your eyes, I'll try to convince you that this page is different from the plethora of other informational pages out there. Firstly, you won't find any warez/mp3s/XXX pics/etc here. Nor will you find any "This is what I did on my summer vacation" type journals. However, what I hope you will find is a large collection of useful "secrets" on a variety of topics. Most these topics will rely on my personal exposure. Since I live and breathe UNIX and quantum chemistry don't be surprised if you see these topics recurring :)

I was able to tear myself away from the game to eat and head out for the broomball game tonight. It's too bad we were missing so many players on our team. We sucked in a few players from the other team to boost our ranks (a couple of girls - Mmm mmm!). We ended up tying 2-2. Our defence was pretty shoddy, and our offence was off. Oh well, our next game with them is tomorrow when we play one of the semi-final games. We should have our real team out for that one.. Heh.
Ugh. The game nearly killed me though. Somehow my dinner didn't settle too well before the game, and the jostling around on the ice didn't help matters either. I should head home and sleep it off.. Man, I also need to get milk.. *groan*. This is probably a good time to leave now..
