Quite poignant.
Finished up the script, and even modified it for my own purposes! Once I'm sure it's secure, I might release it on the masses.. Oh yeah, this script will e-mail text files to people. So basically someone can obtain a program or script as long as they enter in a proper e-mail address, otherwise they won't be getting a copy! It's not foolproof, but it works, and I really didn't care too much about reliability.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that weirDo thinks that System Shock is way too short. He's on the fifth floor of the Von Braun and didn't think that the game is long enough. Is he in for a shock!
Had a power outage this afternoon around three. Knocked out all of the computers and networks. The blackout only lasted less than one second, but that was long enough to kill everything. Well, it took an hour or so before everything was back to normal. Killed my editing job. It was somewhat surprising since it completely wiped the file I was working on (frequent backups? Ha!).
Oh yeah, because of the power outage, I figured that I'd go to the bank tomorrow. Can't be too careful huh?
I got around to ordering myself an EverGlide Mousepad. I hope it's worth the money (and wait.. 21 days!).
Last figure skating thing of the term. I wasn't able to do to much except realize that I forgot everything I did in the previous lessons! I still can't do spins and I can't do the Salchow. Gah. I'll have to find some time to practise..
The ice was flooded before the lesson, meaning that the ice was pretty wretched for the broomball games that I had tonight. Basically playing on flooded ice since there weren't any rough spots. Still both games were pretty good. The first was my team against the Snow Goons.. I think the score was 3-2 or something like that. The second game was against the farm team and we ended up with a 4-3 game. Close games, but we somehow ended on top. I took a bad spill into the net and my shin still smarts. I hope it won't be that bad tomorrow.
Been going through my old entries. Realized that I started forgetting who some people were (despite the hints I left myself). Quite annoying. Took me two days to remember who PC was. I'll have to figure out a better way of doing this..
Been updating some old links.. Dang, this is going to be tedious. I was able to find one though, so that's a good sign. Unfortunately, pages that I can't find might have to be dropped.. there's a program out there that will actually go through and check all the links on my pages right? I think KNZ used one..
Well, it should be time for me to go home. I plan to go back to TO this weekend, although my possible rides are not quite reliable. Perhaps I should look into a backup plan? Nah. I never have, I never will..
