[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Hmm.. I thought I mentioned this before, but maybe I didn't. Anyway, the radio station I usually listened to was a dance station, and although they were somewhat repetitive, it was the only station that I actually could pick up inside my office so I had no choice. Anyway, a few days ago, I tuned in and suddenly I was listening to 80's and 90's rock. What the hell?

Listening in for a little longer, I realized that the station changed from dance to classic rock, and that they were playing the top 140 rock songs from the past couple of decades. Ahh! Well, it was nice to listen to some of the songs I haven't heard since I was a kid, there's only so much classic rock I can take. I checked the rest of the radio bandwith, and the only stations that came in played contemporary music. Gah, so here I am, listening to adult contemp. Oh well, at least the news is more relevant.

Hrumph. Nobody seems to be saying what's going on for a while now. I feel a little out of touch. Eh.

Saw a couple of fire trucks last night while heading towards the restaurant. I didn't notice any smoke or fire, but ALee mentioned smelling some smoke when he passed by the area earlier. I guess I missed out on all the action..

Oh, although I may be jumping the gun, but that bet I made last year might just go my way! Oh yeah! I never turn down a free meal!

Well, it seems this cold weather might be here to stay. Which I guess is expected being past the ides of January and all. Hopefully the weather will be good enough for us to go outside. I'd like to throw the disc at some point in time..

What the.. Well, I just checked my mail and came up with a message from Growly inviting me (and a couple of others) to a birthday party of his. At the end of the message, he writes:

um..short notice, i know, but the party's tonight (Saturday night)

Gah! Does this guy ever plan ahead? See what I mean about being out of touch?

Now I have to figure out if I'm going to go after the show or not. Hrumph. Mind you, I haven't seen his new place yet so this would be a good opportunity to check out his new shack. Decisions, decisions..

Well, I should go back to the show. The movie should be over soon and I should be around when everything goes down. Bah, I hope I can get up tomorrow..
