[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Holy wind Batman! I could hear things flying around in the backyard while I was still in bed this morning. I didn't realize how windy it was until I actually went to school. I had a huge tailwind most of the way there, which kinda scares me since it's uphill going back..

Growly has stuck up a new homepage! I think he might have completely dropped Sciborg, so you may want to update your links..

While weirDo was looking for a way to set up cgiwrap, he noticed that we didn't have any webservers being maintained.. so he had no idea how my Theochem page was viewable. Odd. Figured it out later that the previous server wasn't actually taken off, so it's still up.. sort of..

So Theochem will still be sorta down for another day or two (or three or four). I shouldn't be complaining too much. I've been doing some work and gotten to learn a bit about javascript! (Which I will forget within the next week).

Speaking of javascript, I got some pointers and suggestions from Growly and Laz, and I've put together what I guess is the final form for the clock. It's shown below, and I think that's how it'll stay. It will update every time the page is reloaded, so.. well, if you really need to know the time, you can go and check. That's about it.

Figured that I should check the news to see what was going on. Came across a link from ArsTechnica about a possible problem with.. well, I can't remember so check it out. The other two links are from ZDNet. The first is about a group starting a.. jihad (I guess) against etoys. The second one is about those shoppers looking for great deals on the net.

Anyone heard of Future Trek? Mind you, most of you folks are ineligible, so don't worry about it. What surprised me was that this thing was promoted by the Canada Pension Plan. How the hell to they expect to draw young people? No wonder why they extended the deadline..

Went to Jose's for lunch. It was busy there again, a little bit worse than last week. I guess it's an end of term thing, although I don't remember the place being that busy at the end of last term.. I also noticed that just about all of the people were ordering the burger and fries. So I guess word gets round huh?

Turn of events weatherwise. I won't be blading home. I did this morning, on the hope that the wind would shift directions this afternoon. Well, let's just say that the weather took a real turn for the cold. We got a pretty heavy snowfall which started during lunch (We watched the snowfall increase as we were inside. Fortunately we were walking with the wind on the way back.) and it snowed for the rest of the afternoon. The snow has stopped now, but the wind is still howling, and I'm gonna have to carry my blades home (oh joy).

I could've sworn that there were more things to write about. I guess I'll never know. I really want to go home though. *yawn* Should leave before I fall asleep here..
