[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

KGL sent me a link about something she wants for Christmas. She even put it on her page so that she won't forget. It's pretty cool, although I'd probably use it once and stuff it into the closet somewhere..

Laz has updated that journal of his, so you may want to see what he's been doing lately.

It was sort of drizzling last night on my way back home. It wasn't so bad, except that my blades got a little wet. Could've been worse I guess, I could've been wearing them back..

I remembered just before I got home that I had to do laundry. I had reminded myself yesterday after my shower, but I had completely forgotten by the time I left the house. Well, I got home very close to midnight, so I figured that I probably shouldn't be doing laundry. Instead, I made some dinner and watched a bit of television. As I was fading away, I heard someone enter the house. It was HNT and Werdna. They had both been out until one-thirty! Since Jake's car wasn't in, I can safely assume that he wasn't in either which meant that the house was actually empty when I got home.. which meant that I could actually have done my laundry!

*groan*

Well, getting up late this morning didn't help me any, except I guess it was that time of the day that I wouldn't be bothering anyone by putting a load in the washer. By the time I had finished my laundry, cleaned up, and made it to school, it was one-thirty. Gah.

Bumped into Jean-Guy on the way to school. He gave me a byte of java.. I mean a java bite to try out. I never really liked the taste of coffee (smell is good though) so I didn't particularly enjoy that chocolate. Oh well, to each his own.

After I got in, JSI and weirDo greeted me. JSI said:

"Hello [QYV]."

and weirDo remarked

"Forgot where you worked?"

Grr..

It rained today. Rained for the entire day. Made for dreary weather, but it got rid of the snow very quickly. There's very little evidence of last night's downpour now, so the possibility of a white Christmas is again approaching nil..

Went out to the group Christmas dinner tonight. Got there a little late, although we weren't the last people there (actually we where like middle of the pack). There were a fair number of people there, although I forgot to bring my camera..

It was pretty good actually. The food was really good, and the environment was pretty good too. It's kind of odd that we had one this year, even though we didn't have one last year. I first thought that it was because we had more people in the group this year, but weirDo got me to recount the number of people we had last year and this year, and I realized that we have exactly the same number of people in the group this year as we did last year! Good grief! Oh well, whatever. The food was good, and it was free, so I'm happy.

On the computer front, it seems as if Windoze 2000 has gone gold. Yawn. Also, there may be someone else trying out the power grid as a possible source for Internet bandwidth. Also, it seems as if SharkyExtreme's been acquired by internet.com. Ain't that cool?

If you want to know where I got all this information, just go check out the usual suspects.

I remembered one of the things I forgot to talk about a couple of days ago, but I'm too tired to write it all down. So instead, I'm going to go home and sleep. Night!
