[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

My sandals broke. They broke on Monday while throwing around the disc. Thought I'd mention that first.

Last night, just as I stepped into the house, the phone rang. Dang, I was still in my blades, and I only had three rings allowance before the call answer picked up. Think think think.. Take off blades and run up stairs? Or hobble up stairs in blades? Unlike the time I went skating, I decided quickly, jumping up the stairs in my blades. I got the phone after the third ring. It was my dad. While I was rolling around my room, he tells me that some Rupinder person called about some thing I joined. Well, I'm not exactly sure what the hell he was talking about, but he gave me a 1-800 number to dial which I did after I hung up the phone. Seems like I missed him though. The lady told me that he'd be back by five the next day. Great.

This morning I bladed to school again. Halfway to school, this biker comes on up behind me and sorta stays there. Hmm. I went slowly for a bit, but he didn't budge, so I started going faster through the parking lot, and he keeps up. In fact, he basically sticks on my tail until I stop at the school! (He locked his bike near where I changed shoes.) How bizarre.

Seems like the rumours about Dusty are true. I'll talk to him when he comes back.

After I went to the bank to pay off my VISA bill, I passed by the remains of the Cove to find out that some sort of new arcade had opened up! Peeking in, it looked as if they only had two pool tables and a couple of games. I was going to dig a little deeper until the person managing the place walked up. *doing* It was the broomball convener! How convenient..

I talked to her about the broomball situation. There was some rumor that we weren't going to have any more broomball games after tonight, so I checked to make sure that we had a chance for a couple more games. She told me that despite not being able to set up the games, she'd ask the CIF employees if the slots were available and book the rink directly. I thought that was a good idea (although I don't think it's going to work). Well, what else can I do? Complain? So I left.

This afternoon, Renee reminded me of our little weight room training, to which I groaned, since I knew I was going to kill myself. Things went fairly well tho. I remember doing some of these exercises with Gary a few years ago when I spotted him (all of two times). Fortunately for me, I won the bet. Heheheheh..

Surprisingly enough, I bumped into my squash instructor while I was there, and talked to him for a bit. I didn't notice him at first until he shouted at me, freaked me out. But what freaked me out more was when I was looking around and saw (the soon to be) Dr. Brown! Good lord! What the hell was he doing here? (In Waterloo as much as the weight room). Well, during one of the lulls, I wandered down to where he was exercising and couldn't see him around. Then some guy taps me on the shoulder and asks

"So what are you still doing here in Waterloo?"

Geez, it seemed like he was here for the mathematics competition seminar giving a number of talks and such. That's pretty cool. Got caught up on his doings and dontings.. and that's about it. Freaky though, I didn't expect to meet so many people I recognized down there (I expected none actually).

After that was broomball. I'm telling you now, those muscles that we used (chest and triceps) were useless during the game. Still, we actually had a good turnout mostly because a number of people from the farm team actually showed up. A number? Well, let's say most of their team showed up. It was a good game, in the end we won 2-1.. although I was playing for Mr. Broomball's team..

The game, although fun, was quite painful. I have a habit of lifting sticks, usually to great advantage, but when done improperly..

The first incident was with Joe, when he was taking a swing at the ball. I lifted his stick so that he missed the ball. Unfortunately, his swing continued around and went behind him, which was where I was, clocking me in the head. Down and.. a little dazed. Remember kids, always wear helmets when you're on the ice.

The second incident was near the end of the game. Ivan was getting ready to pound the ball at the net. I put my stick out to lift his shot, but instead of the more vertical slapshot, he took a more baseballesque swing at the ball. This means horizontal people. This also meant that my stick wasn't in the way, but my arm was. Took a pretty good hit to my forearm. Feels mighty bruised now and makes it somewhat difficult to type. That took me out of the game.

The third incident, yes there was a third, occurred when I was sitting on the sidelines. Usually we wait on the.. boards so we can sub off quickly. Well, I was sitting on the boards, watching the game when Graduate took the ball and was getting ready to clear it. I figured that I should get my legs out of the way (away from the boards) so I lifted them.. right smack into the path of the ball. *whack* *thud* I went into the bench this time and stayed there.

It was off to Mcginnis after that. Had a bit of food, and that's no hyperbole. I ordered the two dollar meal, which was the burger and fries that day, and boy was it small. Eh, what did I expect for two bucks?? I was surprised when HaremPresident suddenly appeared at our table. It seemed as if he just came back from the softball game (which conflicted with broomball) and was going to have dinner with some of the team. (Some being four at that time).

Just got back.. had a nice talk, but tired and sore and in pain so need to sleep. Hungry too. How unfortunate. Will go home and sleep now.
