[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

On the way home yesterday, I saw a cat walking across the parking lot with a mouse in it's mouth. I tried to approach the cat but it tried hiding amongst the cars.. I guess it was a little shy (or just didn't want to be bothered when it was eating), so after walking down the parking lot, it darted to the fence, squeezed through one of the tiny gaps and disappeared into the bush. Yeesh. Cats.

Once I got back to walking home, the guy in front of me spat to his side, making a nice spot of goober right in front of me. Excuse me! I was going to step there! I don't want your mucus becoming a part of my shoe. Eww. Couldn't people be just a little more careful?

Woke up late again today. Gah. Not really in the mood to go to school this week. Still, I was able to drag my sorry butt out of bed and off to campus. Checking e-mail, I found a message from Gozer that indicated that he might be coming to town on Friday! Wow! Kewl!

Talked with Cosmo and weirDo about this crazy bike idea that we have. It's a good idea, but whether it would work or not remains to be seen. Hmm.. I guess we'll have to keep working on that proposal..

Here's what we got so far:

Purpose:

Any comments?

On my way to the bank to finally deposit the club money, one of my former students waved at me! I had just walked behind a pillar so I wasn't sure if it was her so I peeked around the pillar and she waved again. Yup, I guess it was her!

Went with Renee to buy a new pair (not really new, I don't exactly have an old pair) of hockey gloves. (Left my blades at school since I didn't think I could carry all my groceries on my blades.) Geez, those things are huge! Even the small ones are just gigantic!! Not exactly cheap either.. watches deflating wallet. Still, hopefully it'll keep my hands safe. I've only had one incident when I was taken out of the season when I got hit in the hand..

It was the last game of the spring term.. I think it was around this time, two years ago. The last game was against the farm team, and my thumb got caught between my stick, and someone else's stick (I think he was trying to knock my stick down or something). Anyhoo, it must have ruptured a whole slew of veins and arteries since my thumb swelled very quickly. I showed it to the helmet guy and he said that I might lose the nail (Not exactly the best thing to say to someone afraid of losing body parts). Anyway, I couldn't function for a couple of days, I couldn't apply pressure to the thumb for a couple of weeks, and I obviously couldn't play any sports for a month or two. Fortunately, since it was the last game of the term, and I was going away in the fall term, I had ample time to heal before I began playing sports again..

After picking up the gloves, we went grocery shopping. I was in dire need of food, but I never really liked carrying a lot of stuff with me when I had to walk (biking was fine tho). Ahh well, hope this will last till I can get access to a better vehicle.

When I got home, I fired up the computer and started hacking around on Baldur's Gate. I read up on the website that there was a NPC respawning bug that only occurred if you tried finishing most of the side quests. The patch on the site is still in beta and they suggested that you not download it unless you encountered the bug. Well, lo and behold, after playing for a few minutes, I hit the bug. Holy annoying Batman! the screen was full of this NPC dude who would walk up to me and start a conversation. Ack. Took me a few minutes before I was able to pause the game and quit. I guess I'll have to get the patch.

At least it gave me a good reason to go to sleep!
