[12:00 PM EDT - No subject.]

Installed Tales of the Sword Coast last night. Figured that I would check it out before going to sleep. A few hours later, I figured that I should probably eat some food since I was getting hungry, at which point I realized that it was way past my bedtime and went to sleep.

This morning, I figured that I would get a few minutes of playtime in before taking a shower. The next time I checked the time, it was around 3pm, so I figured it was a good time to get cleaned up and eat something.

I'm telling ya, if I ever get a girlfriend, I think the computer has to go.

Today it rained. It's the most it rained in a long time. I think it was just as bad as that Canada Day storm in 97. ShadowWhyspr and I were outside wandering around with a tiny umbrella and uhh.. that's about it. It's a long story per se, but in the end, we got wet.

Looking out of my window, it was really hard to see into the distance since there was so much rain pouring out of the skies. The noise from sheer volume of water crashing down onto the earth made hearing myself difficult at best. And to think.. that this was actually quite mesmerizing..

Anyhoo, there wasn't that much of a lightning storm, except that the power fluctuated a number of times while I was making breakfast (making me wonder if I'd get these eggs cooked or not). Fortunately, the power held out and I was able to finish consuming my french toast. Mmm.

Went to school during a lull in the storm, I don't want to dally long just in case it starts raining again. Laz and Growly didn't give me a shout, which could mean that Laz didn't come to town. But seeing as how busy I was on Saturday, and the weather today, I don't think we could've done much anyway.

Got into the office and.. holy did it ever feel like a sauna. I guess that's what happens when you turn off the air conditioning. However, this is not because I turned it off (I leave it on all the time), but because plant operations generally turns off the air conditioning outside of normal operation hours. This would include Sunday afternoons. Fortunately, I took GBC's advice and phoned into plant ops and asked them to turn it on for a couple of hours. Didn't seem to have a problem with that, told me it would be on in a couple of minutes.

A couple of minutes my butt.. it's still like a sauna in here. Even more reason to go home early. Ack.

Oh, here's a question. Why the heck do some people add milk to their scrambled eggs? Huh? I tried it and I didn't notice a difference. Not really. Eh, whatever.

Oh, another thing.. just about every one of us has.. uh, what I would call a "phone voice". Why the hell do we have a phone voice? Couldn't we just talk nice all the time? Makes no sense to me. I'll expand on this later.

For those of you who might be interested, you might want to check out this site. I thought it was interesting.

Okay, I don't think I can take much more of this heat (it's warmer and more humid than my room at home!) so I'm gonna sign off now.
