That's funny. Anyhoo, as you can see, Theochem's back up.
Laz has been a pretty busy boy lately.. I like it! (Gives me more to read and more time to waste)
This morning I actually woke up on time for the lab. This morning I thought I could eat breakfast and make lunch. This morning I was late for the lab. Wah.
The basement people were a little late in coming up to complain about lunch. weirDo was commenting about that and then RHS appeared. Apparently there was some sort of rumour going around about Dusty.. It's only a rumor so there's no point in repeating it. So he didn't show up for lunch today.
Not much happened today, although it was packed with little chores to do, like mail the postcard, pay the orientation committee, go to a Scientific Workplace workshop, etc.
I had enough time to bug REM in her lab tho. Made fun of her, as usual.
The ball hockey playoff meeting went off on a not so great start. First of all, there was apparently a mix up in the room assignment so half of the captains went to each room. These rooms were on opposite ends of campus. The convener went to one while the refs went to the other. It wasn't a very well organized event. Add this to the late arrival of the convener at the captains meeting and the late game cancellations.. this has been a very poorly run term so far..
Anyhoo, got the playoff schedule. Seems like we took top in our division and got a first round bye. We'll see how we do huh?
Then it was squash, and I found out that no one (including the instructor) showed up for the lesson last week. How interesting.
Heard from ArsTechnica and ZDNet about the S3-Diamond merger. This, a couple of months after 3dfx got STB makes you wonder if nVIDIA will be a tasty morsel for Creative? We'll see..
There was also some sort of kewl giveaway until midnight tonight! Woo!
Also, seems like Logic House is selling 120MB of PC100 SDRAM for only $127! Holy cheapness Batman!
I'm getting hungry, time to blade back home.. Oh, one last thing. Today is the first day that I actually bladed in shorts. I guess I'm getting over the knee thing huh? Alright, time to eat, be back tomorrow.
