Well, seems like the CD-RW's a bust so far. I couldn't get the darned thing to work. HNT even came in and tried to get it to burn properly, except that I kept getting either an illegal address error or a continuing operation error. I'll keep trying on Sunday (when I have time) but it doesn't look too promising..
Got up pretty darned early today, even after I went to bed late (trying to burn CD's). I made it to school at 9:30.. ouch! This is even before Cosmo or weirDo made it in! Noticed that the stacks of concrete barriers that were lying in piles around the parking lots on the way to school have been moved back to their proper places on the lot. The only thing different is that they now have many more nicks, scratches and cracks than before. Quite a sorry looking state.
At least I feel better. A little tired, but no head aches or joint aches. Throat was still kinda dry tho, my room is right on top of the furnace so I get most of the hot and dry air in the house. Gave me a very dry throat for the past couple of days ever since I tried to go to sleep early (won't do that again any time soon) and made swallowing quite difficult.
Today was pretty packed with the CGSS coffee and donuts, and CTRL-A show today. Ran around most of the afternoon getting things ready and stuff. Well, I probably shouldn't say that. I went to the C&D and stayed for about an hour, talking mostly with Sabeesh and Will. Even talked a bit with TW and TG, who gave us an interesting riddle:

Although I probably don't have the exact wording right, it still took me a while to get that one.
TW told me (after a bit of prodding) that she actually knew Growly! Apparently she lived with his sister for a while. She did recall one story, of how she scraped her toes while biking and couldn't go out to get sugar after that. So Growly (and Laz she believes) drove out and got some sugar for her. Wasn't that nice of them?
Left the C&D at around 4 (after being delayed a bit by TG and TW) and went nearly straight to the CTRL-A show. Got there just in a nick of lateness, since the pizza delivery guy was just about to leave. (People had to pool money for pizza since I had the floats) Whoops. Also, I forgot to bring the membership cards, so I trundled on back to my office to pick them up. On the way back to the show, I ran into James (from physics) who I hadn't seen in a year or so, but Puma showed up, so I had to avoid her. (Failed miserably).
The CTRL-A show as pretty normal. Picked up a nasty cough ear the end of the show tho. It's still plaguing me ATM. Oi. It's kinda making my (healing) sore throat feel a bit worse.
Work's been going a bit slow. I feel like complaining, but I'll save it till Monday when I know that things won't work. I still have that paper and presentation to do for Spec, so I'm not quite out of the woods yet. At least I got some marking out of the way. It was quite easy, especially since many of them didn't answer the question, and a couple others copied the solutions word for word.. (zero is such an easy mark to give..)
