[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Well, went to bed early last night (around 10 PM) but I couldn't fall asleep! Crap, what a waste of time. I didn't zone out until 1 or 2 in the morning, which is the usual time that I go to bed. Unfortunately, I woke up early again today, meaning that I really didn't get any extra sleep last night. Go figure, I had a headache and my right knee hurt for most of the day. I have no idea to the cause, but it was kinda annoying.

Went down to talk with Dr. Fisher after JAZ messaged me about bringing in the CD-RW drive (it's an Acer 6X read, 2X write, 2X rewrite). So I went down and picked it up. Picked up a few CD-RWs as well to play around with.

Finally did all of my photocopying, took me a while, bout half an hour, but at least that's done and over with. Just got word from one of the referees for the Coinage paper that we submitted a couple of weeks ago. Very positive, seems like we'll be publishing it soon. No all we have to do is work on this Rb2 paper and see if we can get LiH going..

I'm still getting a few chuckles and comments from my "Witness Relocation Program" T-shirt. TW said something (which I totally forgot), and even the bank teller chuckled when she saw the shirt. Funny, since I've had this shirt for two years now.. (I thought everyone had seen it by now). Oh, I always wear this shirt when I play broomball. Makes it easier to recognize me. (That and/or the green shirt - If the WRP shirt is dirty, I'll at least be wearing the green shirt)

I was gonna stay at school and work until my skating lesson at 8 PM, but I was fading pretty fast, and the headaches weren't leaving anytime soon. Well, I had to stick around for the grand unveiling of GBC's (the computer guy) new G3. Needless to say, he was quite happy. As was weirDo who ended up taking GBC's old colour xterm. (Which has 12 mg of memory! I only have 5 on my b&w term.) Ah well, I still have the better room (with the window, and working air conditioning) so I shouldn't complain. We'll be upgrading the network in the lab sometime soon to RJ45, (instead of thinwire) so I could conceivably bring in my PC and hook it up to the network here! Now that's a thought..

Anyway, I couldn't make it till 8 at school, so I went home at 5, taking my new CD-RW drive along with me. After dinner, I installed the drive and it seems to be working fine. Now all I have to do is to test to see if it will actually burn CD's.. I tried using direct CD on one of my CD-RW's, but it didn't work the first time.. I'm gonna keep testing tho.

I took a nap while the drive was verifying the CD (It takes between 50-90 minutes), when ChuckL and Hazel came home, they thought I was dead or something. Sure felt like it. Even after my nap, I still didn't feel too good, but I figured since it was the last skating lesson and the last co-rec broomball games of the season I should at least try to go.

Skating went well, with some more practice, I might be able to do a one foot spin! Now wouldn't that be neat? Karen didn't show up today, so I didn't have to walk her to the bus stop, but I wanted to take a picture gosh darned it! Ah well, maybe next term.

Broomball was pretty good, both teams played very well today. The first game (with the Buckyballs) was a 3 all tie (although I could've sworn that they only got two goals), and we even came back from a 3-1 deficit. (The last goal was a minute before the end of the game). Quite nice, considering how we blew a 3-0 lead last week. The second game was with Tiny's team, and a couple of people from the chem team stuck around to play. That was kinda nice since that gave us two extra subs (making three), which probably helped quite a bit. This game was a tug-o-war, with us going down and up and eventually winning 3-2. What a nice way to end the season.

Well, that's it for now. At least that's all that I'll be talking about today. Tomorrow.. tomorrow will be another day (although it's already Thursday), and hopefully, I won't have a headache, and I won't be tired.
