Got up at 7:52 this morning. Man, that morning sun was really bright on a clear day.. got out of bed nearly two hours later. We had great weather today. No crazy winds whipping around, and no snow falling everywhere.. just nice blue skies..
Seems like ChuckL shoveled the driveway yesterday. I guess he wanted to get his car out somehow!
Well, Joe Dimaggio died last night. I'm not the biggest baseball fan in the world, but his loss will be felt.
Speaking of losses, Gerhard Herzberg died last Thursday. He is considered by many the father of Spectroscopy. If you don't know what spectroscopy is, don't worry. What you don't know.. well, don't worry about it.
Had to go back to the house to pick up some stuff. What a pain. Finally picked up my scholarship cheque for the traveling scholarship thing. Not very much money, but money is money, and I shouldn't complain. I wanted to start taking pictures of people in the lab so that we could actually put up some sort of recent group shots so that people passing by would know that there were actually people working in here. Unfortunately is seems like most of the people here are a little photo shy. Hmm.. make that photo annoyed. Maybe a couple of candid shots should suffice..
Oh the student who came looking for me before and talked to Cosmo instead, apparently came by when I was out again. Guess what? Cosmo helped her out again! (I dunno how weirDo avoided her this time) Oh well, I think she got what she wanted.
Ran into Puma after the CTRL-A meeting. (Actually it was more like she saw me and chased me down - ack.) Anyway, we talked for a bit and she mentioned how she found Lindsaye (who's homepage I don't have!) and she wanted to see me sometime on the new talker (which address I do not have) that she was perusing. Wow, I found that kinda odd, seeing as she still hasn't responded to that last letter I sent her. Oh well, we all get busy sometimes.
While I was talking with Puma (and was reminded that she had her CHEM 492 presentation this weekend - which I have to go to since she went to mine), JBP ran in. I have no idea what he was doing in the area (he's in Opt and should be in the Opt part of campus), but he scared of Puma and asked if I wanted to go to the arcade. No dice, I had a class to go to. Aww.

Well, that's it for now. I've got two presentations to prepare for, a paper to write, and an assignment to do. All in the next week and bit. Ahh!
