Actually had warm water in the shower today. Mind you, warm isn't hot, but it ain't luke warm - getting colder either! Weather's been getting colder in the past few days. I guess winter decided to come back and play for a while. Well, the temperature is actually quite normal for this time of year (if not a bit warmer than normal) but after the past couple of months of spring, this is pretty frigid weather.
Got another load of mail today. Boy, I sure feel popular. Got a response from Magnifica (which means I should send her the second reply tomorrow) and even got a forward from Laurana! Will wonders never cease?
DeeL started up this survey contest last week and even bugged me to send in SOME sort of entry. And when I finally did, I found out that I've gotten the third lowest score of the group. Yeesh. Still it's quite interesting, for those of you who are interested, AND have time on your hands for these sorts of surveys (it really doesn't take to long to find ten best "whatever") you should send DeeL a message and ask to be added onto the list!
Now it just occurred to me, there are so few people who actually come by here that it was a pretty silly idea to ask people to join. Eh, whatever.
The time seemed to pass so quickly today. I'm not even sure what the heck I did for the whole afternoon. I sure know what I did all morning, after dropping of the keys to the GWC2 van, I shuffled off down into the basement to figure out why my HOMIEFIT program didn't work downstairs. Well, after an hour, I figure it was an inherent problem with the non-linear least squares fitting routine used in the program. Dang. I don't know how to fix that. Well, I'll figure out something.
Not too much to talk about in computer news (just like last night). Sigh.
I'm gonna try out some frames to fix up that "must load entire journal crap to make it to the links" problem. I hate to use frames, but it's a quick fix and it should work (and it's pretty easy to implement). So we'll have to bear with it for now at least.
Well lookee here.. I got the danged style sheets to actually work! Things are a bit different, but heck, this is better than nothing. Well, let's see if I can get some frames up and running..
Ack, the page looks gross! Well, that's what happens when you're a frame neophyte. I'll see what sort of cleaning up I can do later. Meanwhile, I'll just have to make do. Got rid of the title header. Course it wasn't really doing much for the page anyway. I really should get around to making a REAL title page. Any volunteers?? Jax? FlyingS? Beuller? Beuller?
Aw crap, seems like the frames wont turn off! Gosh darned it.. Of all the luck..
I think I'll just go and eat dinner now, dinking a little too long with this page tonight, I have real work to do, and some things to check on, and a stomach to feed. *grumble*
