Checked out Laz's and Growly's .plan file, they update them fairly frequently (I used to update mine daily until I started working on my page again). I like Laz's message tho, he usually has very interesting, and thought provoking ones, but this one is just.. well, I was surprised. (I checked myself!) Here it is:

sciborg: webster callipygian

cal-li-pyg-ian \,kal-e-'pij-(e^--)en\ or cal-li-py-gous\-'p[0xF5]^--ges\ adj
[Gk kallipygos, fr. kalli- + -pygos, fr. pyge^- buttocks; akin to Gk physan to blow, inflate -- more at FOG]
(1800)
:having shapely buttocks

This is one English word that I haven't heard used before. (Perhaps that will change)

On the way back home from school last night, I noticed, sticking out of the remains of the snow (now ice) piles around the parking lots, were some of those concrete dividers (That I sometimes try to balance on). Looked kinda odd seeing those heavy dividers (looked like straws in a shake) sticking out at odd angles from a couple of piles. I was surprised that the snow plows didn't notice when they were moving all that snow around that they were picking up these things. After I thought about it, hell, if I were a snow plow man, I probably couldn't see, and probably wouldn't care. That's probably why there are so many scratch marks and nicks in the concrete.. uhh.. whatchamacallits.. the thing between the sidewalk and the road.. anyway, a lot of them have huge chunks taken out, and the speed bumps have these ugly gouges in them like some great rake came by and scraped off a couple of inches.. yuck. (Not to mention the pot holes..) Yes, this really explains why:

There are only two seasons in Canada: Winter and construction.

Ain't it great to be Canadian eh?

Just dinking around on the newsgroups and found someone selling their MX300 for only $110!! (CDN I assume). Aw hell, had I waited two weeks, I could've gotten a new sound card 30 bucks cheaper than what I paid for.. (I paid $140). Oh well, you win some, you lose some..

A bit more news in the CG world, found out on SharkyExtreme that some dude by the name of Morpheus was able to hack and slash Half-Life: Uplink down to 3.5 Megs! Wow, speak of space savings. You'll need the original retail version of Half-Life to play it, so get your copy today! (Mind you, I don't have a copy, so I haven't tried this slimmed down Half-Life: Uplink Lite. (Use at own risk!)

Just heard this on the radio, apparently there's a company that will let people own their own Automated Banking Machines.. Is it just me or is there something wrong with this? Alright, so you generate a dollar revenue with each transaction, but apparently the company will give you a location for "your" ABM. So.. you could get an ABM, and find out that it's in the middle of the North West Territories! Yeesh. All I could do was laugh.

Life been pretty boring today. Didn't eat much. Stomach complaining. Will reply to e-mail soon. Wondering what's taking Magnifica so long.. well, time for me to go and consume sustenance.
