Well, this morning I woke up around 8:00 am, figured that since I was gonna be staying at home in the morning to update the club accounts and the CGSS BBQ wasn't till 11:30, I could sleep in for an extra 30 minutes or so.. Next time I checked the clock it was already past 10:00. Ahhh! Got up, got washed, got dressed, and got cracking. Finished updating the accounts a few minutes before 11:30, and rushed to school. Got there late, but not too late to miss out on the BBQ..
Actually, the moment I made it to my office, ADK was there (Apparently she was hunting me down for the BBQ). When I got to the BBQ, CK, and JG were already there, and everything was already set up. Well, didn't leave me much to do except show them the money. It was great weather too, not too breezy, and very sunny (we were in the shade for the first hour, but fortunately the sun came by to visit us. Actually, the entire barbecue didn't exactly go as planned. We ran out of sausage/hotdog buns halfway through (we needed a dozen more) so I ran off to Farah's to get some, and not too long after that, our propane ran out (yeesh, we just thought that there was low pressure). Well, took us a while to find a new tank, and by that time, all of the people in line just took their food and went somewhere else to nuke em. Still, we fired up the grill again and was able to get rid of all our food (even the condiments). All in all, a good BBQ.
After that was counting the CGSS money, and the money pickup for the CTRL-A show, and paying people back, etc. etc. Quite busy. The show went fine tho. (Apart from the fact that HNT - The computer guy - wasn't there to unlock the door so that we could get the equipment till half an hour later).
Funny, today seems like a long day (well it's actually Saturday now, but I figure I should talk about Friday) but I can't remember anything that's happened recently.. it was too much too fast, and I'm not really in the mood of remembering things (sleeping? Yes!).
After the show and the group dinner, I dropped by the arcade to check on Renee. Well, seemed like.. uh oh.. I forgot his name.. Dan I think.. let's call him Dan, anyway, Dan (who I met before but didn't know the name of) was there keeping her company so that was fine. Again, it seemed like she was having a bad week (being sick and all). I dunno, she tries to hide her bad feelings, so it's hard to tell how she's handling it.. well, maybe I should keep an eye on her..
Ugh.. gonna be another long day tomorrow.. I still haven't replied to my mail yet.. I should head home now.. must sleep.. *groan*
