[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Yoiks, weather started off pretty grungy today. It started snowing late last night, and it kept on snowing this morning. Fortunately we only got a couple centimeters of snow, so we won't have to break our backs clearing out the driveway. Nice thing is that at the end of the afternoon, the sun actually broke through the clouds (well, the sun didn't literally "break through" the clouds, but you know what I mean) and we're getting a nice sunset as I speak.

Unlike that past few days, I didn't get too much e-mail today. Of course this may have to do with the fact that I was swamped and didn't reply to most of the e-mail that was sent to me yesterday! (I still have to reply to most of them). That's okay though, one more day won't be too much of a problem..

Then again, one more day may matter since tomorrow I won't have ANY time at all with the CGSS BBQ, CTRL-A show, and a Chem Phys Seminar all tomorrow. Yeesh! We'll see how that all goes.

As I mentioned yesterday, I did find times for rec skating today, and I went for the whole hour and a half. Quite refreshing, although I found that my turning abilities have still not improved. Oh well. I did bump into Sue (a Chem Stores person) and had a nice chat.

Interesting thing happened when I went down to check mail, bumped into one of the chemistry secretaries on the way out or the mail room, and saw that she was holding a hole pile of mail. I asked jokingly if there was any for me and she told me, "Oh yes hon, the one on top is yours". I thought that she was joking, but lo and behold, it was a letter for me. Well, it was actually my T4 slip, it would've been nice to get some other kind of personal mail once in a while. I also found out that I was the only person to get their T4 today. Seems like the other students will be getting their T4's later in the week (i.e. Friday) cuz if they don't then some people might get a little annoyed..

Just before leaving, weirDo boy said that he was gonna go "la la la" home. I had no idea what he was talking about, so he explained that it was in reference to the "little piggies" thing. Didn't the little piggie go "wee wee wee" all the way home? Well, weirDo wasn't gonna "wee wee" anywhere, so I came up with

..and this little [weirDo] went "la la la", all the way home.

"wee wee" sounds better.

Wow! In computer news, it seems from what SharkyExtreme has heard, that Matrox is finally taking the lid off of the G400 (their new chipset - I've got the Millennium G200) next month. Here's their say:

Sources close to Matrox Graphics have revealed that their next generation processor, called the G400, will be previewed for the first time at CeBit '99 in Hanover, Germany (March 18th). Initial release dates of cards based off of the chipset are for Q2 of 1999. No more details are available at this time.

We'll have to see how good this chip really is..

New games? Well, checked out an article at OGR on the upcoming space sim Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance and it looks mighty good. Whether it will stand up to become a game worthy of the Star Wars label, we'll see in a month or so..

What the heck? Did Netscrape crash?

Oi.. what an annoyance!

Well, just came back from volleyball and dinner, we actually had a full team show up today! Not just that, we had ten people show up.. which is more than we've ever gotten to come out to a game.. (If fact, everyone who's ever come to a game actually came to this game) And to remember this fact, I brought my camera along (I have it with me all the time now). Unfortunately the batteries were dead. Fortunately HaremPresident had batteries for his Walkman. Unfortunately, we only took one picture. Well, that might be a fortunate turn of events. Anyhoo, I'll have to put that up sometime (They want a copy too).
