Boy did it ever get cold today. It snowed last night, and it snowed till late this afternoon. That's a big change from yesterday's sunny warm weather. I guess winter's not gone yet huh?
Had another cold shower today. I really should tell HNT about it. Whenever the water turns luke warm, I have a dilemma. Do I turn up the hot water and hope there's enough hot water to finish the shower? Or do I keep it luke warm just in case it will turn freezing cold since there's no hot water left? Decisions, decisions..
Got a reply from Squishy today! Seems like she was busy recalibrating one of the instruments and couldn't do her e-mail duty - what a trooper! (even sent me a hilarious family tale - but I'll hold out on sharing it till she gives me the go-ahead). Funny thing, I've been getting a lot of e-mail from Laurana lately. It's like she suddenly realized she had e-mail or something, that is so bizarre. Well, hopefully we'll be able to visit her in Chicago soon (this summer).
Bought some blue network cable at the surplus sale that the University has every month. For 1.08 a roll (my roll is about 30 feet) I think that's a good bargain. All I have to do is find plugs for this thing..
Had lunch at Harvey's today (wouldn't be able to eat from 5:00 till way past midnight), but on the way there, I JUST missed running into TW (the one who thinks Harvey's onion rings will keep her healthy). I was in the bridge, and I looked outside for a little while, when I went through the doors, I noticed her going down the stairs.. (I can recognize the back of her head any day!) Gosh darned it! Of all the irony. Oh well, I doubt she would've wanted to come anyway.
Had a figure skating lesson today after a couple of weeks off. I still can't spin, but I'm starting to understand how to do the Salchow(I always thought it was called a sowcow). I should keep practicing tho. I walked what's-her-face to the bus stop after the lesson (I had an hour break between skating and broomball) so at least I had something to do in between stints.
Broomball was fun today. We got crushed in the first game (with the Chem Club team the Buckyballs) but I played for Tiny's team in the next game and we pulled out a draw (even though we had SO MANY chances). Too bad. Fun game tho.
Ahh, well I'll be, I think Laz might actually be updating his page more than weekly! That would be quite interesting (for people who know him at least - like me). We'll see if he has enough time to keep it up (It takes me at least an hour a day to do this stuff - what a pain).
Oh yeah, this is another one of those, written the day after deals. Sorta makes me wonder why I'm not in bed yet. I better get going then. *yawn*
