[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Too bad, I missed the Leafs game last night, but caught a bit of the very very very long closing celebrations. Got bored, and changed the channel. Found out later that I missed watching the buds get trounced by Chicago 6-2. Oh well, fortunately I have been to the gardens to watch a couple of Leaf games (of which they lost all of em). So, farewell to the lady on Carleton, and we'll see how we do in the new Air Canada Centre!

Found out last night (before missing the Leaf's game) that Puma had a bf! Was I the last to know or something? Anyway, I hope they have a good time together, cuz I sure as hell feel sorry for the guy!! (Just kidding!!)

Speaking about bf's and gf's, today is "Try not to be single day" where all the couples in the world ignore everything except for their significant other. This would leave all of the single people with nothing to do (except spod maybe). Of course, many couples go about their normal business and don't even bother with the pretense of making this day special, except maybe reminding their partner about the dental appointment next week. Personally, I think that if there has to be a Valentine's day, then every day should be a Valentine's day. No point using a single day to try to make up for all the crap that happens in the rest of the year (especially if V Day doesn't go the way it was planned).

I nearly put VD instead of V Day.. boy that would be an interesting Freudian slip eh?

Well, started off VD on the wrong foot, cracked an egg in the sink and everything popped out, and went down the drain, then I dropped one of my chopsticks on the floor. Yeesh, it's like someone was trying to tell me something ("Don't hold anything you'll drop it!"). At least skating was very relaxing. I felt very balanced today and didn't fall on my hands (which my wrists are grateful for - especially the left one). HaremPresident was supposed to show up today and I was hoping a few other people since I e-mailed about it, but, as usual, no one came. Eh, their loss.

Was lurking around on the newsgroups and ran across a posting that warned that a previous posting actually contained the Happy99.exe virus. Of course, I had no idea what was going on, nor did I care since.. hell, I don't open applications from news groups. Well, I hopped on by ZDNet and lo and behold, they had an article on this thing. Apparently it's a WORM and was released onto usenet a little while ago spreading via newsgroups and e-mail attachments. But, as normal netsense goes, don't open any attachments from places/people/furry animals that you don't trust.

Also came across a preview for Total Annihilation: Kingdoms at OGR. Sure looks good, and it will be in direct competition with Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings. Should be interesting.

Finally got around to putting up Laurana's homepage (I lost her page when I lost my bookmarks). She's the only Goth that I actually talk to now and then. Anyway, she doesn't have much on her site except for a picture or two and a few links, but you can check it out if ya want.

You might think, after reading all of these commentaries, (and the fact that I have nothing better to do than update my homepage) that I might be single. Well, I've got something to tell you buddy. You're absolutely right! And do you know what? (What?) I'm proud of it! I don't understand why people actually go out, steady, whatever. Of course from a single's point of view, it seems clear as day, it takes so much time and effort and money.. but there are benefits. Apparently. Course, I'm being a little hypocritical.. (as I usually am) so before I dig myself into a very large ditch,

[Tuesday, February 16, 1999: I have no idea what the heck happened here. Why did I stop? Maybe I got abducted or something, oh well.]
