[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Hmm.. it occurred to me that one of the girls in my skating class was very familiar. I just had this odd feeling about her during class but couldn't put my finger on it. Of course I put my whole hand on it when I bumped into her.. *ahem* (I apologized - twice) Anyway.. I realized as I was walking to school this morning that she was one of the science frosh leaders this year! After thinking about that for a bit, I realized why I couldn't recognize her at first: Her hair was different. (She had bigger hair during frosh week - mind you, it didn't look bad). Anyways, after realizing that, I think I'll have to go and ask her (cuz I wanna know if I'm right or not) but I have a funny feeling that I'm right, cuz during the week, she seemed a bit reclusive, and in skating, she seemed a bit reserved. It's too bad there won't be any skating for three weeks, so hopefully I'll remember by the time skating starts up again.

Onto more computer related things, I checked out the Silicon Zoo today. Heard about this place from ArsTechnica, and it's a site which is basically an archive of doodlings and etchings on the computer chips and parts that may be in your home, or work, or school.. It's pretty kewl. Of course, I'm not gonna break open my computer just to look for some microscopic picture which I can ooh and ahh about.. But it's interesting none the less.

Also checked out the "Who is Corporal Dan?" from PC Gamer. I must admit, although it's not the most modern, spiffy, and plot oriented movie thing, I was pretty surprised that these people had so much time on their hands to make this thing.. really quite bizarre.

Squishy hasn't replied to my mail yet. Gee, and to think that my hopes were up. Oh well, goes to show that you shouldn't put too much faith into something that you can't control yourself. Of course, if you DO have control, it doesn't mean that you should put too much faith into whatever you are controlling either. (Which would indicate that you shouldn't put too much faith into anything.. hmm)

I was pretty lucky that the labs I had to mark for today were the really small ones. It took me about an hour to do, which left me about an hour to do stuff before I had to wander down to the lab itself. One of the students in my CHEM 129 lab.. I can't remember her name.. anyway, she was wearing a tank top.. a thin one at that. I know that it's been warm in the past couple of days (getting near those double digits!! JR) but a tank top is getting kinda ridiculous! Not that I'm complaining mind you.. she filled it out quite nicely.. and she seems really sweet.. but back to the point at hand, I think some people are already a little spring crazy with all the warm weather we've been getting, and all the snow melting. Hopefully, it won't all go to their heads. (especially with the break coming up next week)

Had a good game of volleyball today. Got our butts whipped badly. Doesn't really matter to me, I just needed the exercise! Next week is reading week (or reading two days for the mathies and engineers - or just your normal working week for us grads) so things should be pretty quiet around here for a couple of days. I should remember to come by campus on Saturday and see how Renee's doing, and Sunday to get some skating in.

Something I mentioned to Magnifica. (who's a shy gal)

Shy people unite! (But without meeting other people)

Well, that's enough for now, I'm gonna go get some sleep..
