[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

Alright, you all might be wondering what the hell I've been doing the past weekend. To tell you the truth, not too much. I fixed up the colour and font for a number of my Quotes and Laws pages so now they're actually viewable! I never really realized what a bad colour dark green was until I tried to view my page with the B&W terminals they have here. It's like reading black text on a black sheet of paper. Not quite easy reading material. Oh well, I'll continue changing the font and colour until I'm done, so until then, bear with the mess!

Saturday, I would have actually mentioned something about fixing old pages (which is a pain in the butt), but I figured that I would talk about it after the broomball game. Yes, the first competitive broomball game in the term! (and year, and ever in recent history) Of course, Riston wanted to go to Mcginnis for a drink after the game (around 11pm) and so I tagged along. By the time we had finished (I had dinner too), it was 2 in the morning and I was already feeling the soreness creeping into my joints. I decided to call it a night. No prob, I'll update it on Sunday.

Sunday game around and I went shopping. Came back and made dinner (I got up around noon and it took me half an hour to walk to the store). I then watched Cold War, the Simpsons and the X-Files and planned to go to school right after, until I saw this kewl documentary on The 50 Years War. Alright, so this is history, but I've always wondered how the Israelis survived (and thrived) when they were completely surrounded and outnumbered by more powerful enemies. It was pretty amazing, although unfortunately, the seeds of violence sown throughout the entire conflict will probably blossom into an all out war which could destroy the middle east. Perhaps they will find peace, but with so much hatred and stubbornness, I highly doubt it.

A bit of computer news, Intel has backed down on their bid to add in the new ID system for computers mentioned at ZDNet (great place for computer news). Now you'll have to manually turn it on, rather than manually turn it off. (Like anyone will turn the damned thing on) I personally will probably wait a bit before I get a new system. Prices have dropped again, and it seems like I could get a C300a (retail) for less than 120 Canadian! Alright, so it's not THAT good considering that prices for the chip are around 60 American (which is at worse 95 up here) but it's still a good deal nonetheless. But check out Anand's Celery Report: Issue #4 it has some interesting tidbits that indicates that I should get a slot-1 C300a before prices go up.
