[12:00 PM EST - No subject.]

That was a pretty pathetic entry yesterday. Unfortunately, I don't think I can outclass it today. So another Monday has come and gone. Just finished going to my last spec lecture. Woo woo! I'd celebrate but I'm too tired and I want to eat something very very soon.

Got the new (and final) assignment for spec, and basically worked diligently on it most of the day. Nearly finished I might add. Except for one of the questions which is rather vague and not really worth doing (although I will have to do it). Gah. I can't believe that I missed the CTRL-A today. My mind was really too focused on the assignment (which isn't due for two weeks - so I'm a keener, what else is new?) and I forgot to put the meeting into my planner. Ho well. I doubt anything disastrous happened while I was absent.

I keep wondering about those green people (not green men anymore, have to be politically correct). Every time they refill one of those paper towel dispensers in the washroom next to our lab, they put so many towels in there that it's impossible to take one out (it's the type you have to tug at, like a Kleenex box). It's quite annoying to try pulling out one or two towels when your hands are wet (from washing! I don't miss that often..) and in the end, pull out a whole wad of towels which just end up in the wastebasket. Couldn't they just fill the dispenser to capacity and not try to see who can stuff the box the most? Yeesh.

Anyway, for once I want to go to sleep before midnight so I'm gonna pack my bags and go. Had an interesting discussion with HW (our postdoc) about my presentation and problems with my project. Quite interesting although it takes a few minutes to figure out what he's talking about (his English is not very good).

Okay, really should get going now.. I'll be back tomorrow!
