Glug.. I hope I'm not coming down with something. I had a stomach ache from the moment I woke up until around noon, and after that went away, I've been getting some mild headaches. Could be because I've been getting little sleep and eating like a student. I couldn't fall asleep early last night even though I went to bed before midnight. Crazy, once your body gets used to a time to fall asleep, it sticks to it. Yeesh.
Finished up my assignment. But I was having an understanding problem with one of the questions so I wandered off down to the Bernath lab looking for RHS. RHS wasn't in but I bumped into TP and TG down there. I told them my problem, and since they had already taken the course oh so long ago, TG offered to show me her notes. After an hour of fishing around in her office we finally found what we were looking for, so I took a peek and gave it back to her. I hope I didn't bother her students that much.. (a fair number of her students were lined up for help by the time we had finished).
I might be taking Dr. Fisher's CD-RW drive off his hands. It doesn't seem to work properly so I'm gonna stick it in my computer and check it out. At least I should be able to back up my hard drive before anything bad happens.. (*knock on wood*)
I really can't put up any links or check news today. I think I'll just go home and sleep. Maybe make some chicken noodle soup or something.. *groan*
(Brain telling body to go home). Yeah yeah, I did manage to do a bit of fishing around (for about an hour) and I finally found the original Born and Oppenheimer paper that talks about their - funny enough - Born-Oppenheimer approximation. (Anyone who's ever taken quantum should know it). Unfortunately, it's in German. I no speak German. I'd look at the pretty pictures, but it doesn't have any. Rats. I made a copy tho. Hopefully I'll be able to go through it sometime..
(Stomach telling body to go home). Okay okay, I'm gonna get going now before my various bits start rebelling. I'll be back (hopefully in better shape) tomorrow.
