I'm back! Well, it wasn't as if I was gone that long. Two days isn't much to comment about, especially when I spent half of that time sleeping. I couldn't get in touch with Squishy nor MPS, which was rather annoying since I wanted to give Squishy back the CD's I borrowed, and show MPS the pictures I took. Eh. Sucks to be them.
Got home without a hitch. Talked to a few people while I was back. Showed Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure to a bunch of people (Laz not included). The general reaction was very positive (except for the somewhat cheesy ending). Fortunately, the audience seemed to get into the series pretty quickly. Well, I guess I'll have to give Laz his own private showing, as long as I still have the tapes on me. We'll see.
Speaking of pictures, I finally got that roll developed. It's got stuff from the past few months, including a couple of pictures of Madelaine which fortunately came out (The most recent picture I had of her was from grade 6). Hmm.. debating whether or not to put pictures up.. ehh.. I'll think about it.
Brought all that junk I had piled in my room (Including my old computer) back to TO so at least I can move around in my room. I even set up the old computer back at TO taking out the big drive from the 486 and the 3.5 drive from the 286.. Found out that the modem in my Pentium truly was cooked. When I tried to link up to Interlog, the modem gave me garbage. So I guess I must have fried it good when I stuck in the network card. Hmm.. that's too bad. Fortunately, they had an external modem at home which we used to replace the new one (although that sentence didn't make sense).
I might as well talk about the Matrix now. From what I've heard, everyone seems to like it. I mean, I haven't heard a bad word about it from six odd people so far. This includes Hazel, ChuckL, Rob (who doesn't watch this sort of stuff), Growly, JC, KNZ (who said it didn't suck even though it's a SF with Keannu Reeves), and Laz (who's seen it 4 times already! silly boy). Well, I guess I'm gonna have to see it sometime. I'm planning on Tuesday.. but the CTRL-A gang has already seen it so I'm not sure who to watch it with.. well.. I have one person I want to ask.. Mmm..
I'd like to mention, before I forget, that I've been nominated for an OGS!! Wow, I'm really gonna start rolling in money soon (I think). I might take everyone out to lunch again next week.. we'll have to see.
I should get going, I don't want to fall asleep during the talks tomorrow.. funny though, I'm more worried about dinner than the presentation.. Oh well, hope things go well (but we'll need to get some sleep first!)
